F it, just tank this season.

Why would we tank? Our first games, we had many injured starters, Once we get our starting TE, WR, CB, HB, and more back, We'll be able to get this division. We're only 1 game back, and anything can happen in 14 more games.

Completely agree. Tank talk has no purpose here at this time. We're still the defending champs and should easily be undefeated right now.

This roster is too talented to tank. I have to admit losing Nick Bosa really stings though.

Having one of the best players at his position is really so much fun as a fan. Even when Nick wasn't getting sacks it was a blast seeing his tape after the game because he always had at least a couple of master class film sessions to look at.

Losing him 2 games into the season is a real punch to the dick and with Ford being out I'm worried out our defense. Now our offense if healthy can still put up enough points for us to win games...like we saw in the Saints game last year but then I can't help but remember how impactful Bosa was in that game :(

Hope the other guys step up in his absence but damn do I wish we still had him or had him coming back. To me there are 3 players we really couldn't afford to lose - Jimmy, Kittle and Bosa.

Yet all 3 will miss time with Nick being gone until 2021.
damn, that must be one nasty thigh bruise for him to miss a game.

Are they playing somebody other than the Giants all of a sudden?

Just think about it for a minute, anyone who is considered on the questionable side right now they're not sending out on that pile of s**t field again until they get back on real grass.

If/when we win this game, I seriously wonder if that would be some kind of record for the amount of key players being injured

Still pissed about the Greenlaw injury...the Niners were up huge later in the 2nd Half - kick the damn kickoff THROUGH the end zone and don't give a chance for a return (and thus a possible injury, which is exactly what happened to Greenlaw). We know Wish has the strong leg to do so...sometimes, I wonder if the ST coach has him kick it short on purpose to try to gain better field position by making the tackle inside the 25 yard line.

One way to look at it...those guys can't get hurt more on that field!
back up WR's. Backup TE. backup QB. Backup RB. i know theres context to be had here with who those backups are, but still.

if we can make it out alive with a win here... ill be very pleased.
HASTY THO

That's what the standing ovation is for. Don't put the show pony's at risk. It's why the top soccer players have it in their contracts they don't play on turf. Ronaldo and Messi are smart enough to be like nah I like my knees.

I mean, it's just common sense at that point, especially with all the injuries that were happening in the game. Maybe Wish just mis-kicked it and it came up short, causing the return. Regardless, not good and really hoping Greenlaw is back for the Eagles game.
Kittle officially ruled out this week vs NY Giants
