Nick Mullens takes us to a superbowl (ala Nick Foles) and gives us a QB controversy.
We trade Jimmy for a second rounder that Lynch uses to draft a D-lineman he once had an online class with.

- NFL Pick 'em
Don't forget the NFL added 2 teams, one from each conference, to the playoff structure. 7 teams from each conference will be in.

I'm just gonna be scummy and hope our division starts getting injured as we're getting healthy. I want them to know what it feels.like to have 7-8 of your top 10 players injured at once.

I still think they make the playoffs given Jimmy gets and stays healthy reasonably quickly.
I think Super Bowl is out of the question though.

Yeah, we make the playoffs, but our margin for losing is just too thin. We can't lose games that we should win, like the Week 1 Cardinals game.
I seriously doubt we even sniff the #1 seed, and if we do, Shanahan needs to be Coach of the Year. But realistically, I see us as a Wild Card. We could very easily take 3, 4 losses by the bye week... especially with that stretch with the Pats, Seahawks, Packers, Saints. Our hope is to just get into the dance and that we are (1) healthy, (2) the WR situation gels, and (3) we have an effective pass rush by committee.

Nick Bosa is the best football player on this team but this team has WAY too much talent to miss the playoffs because of bosa. Its pretty surprising that there was a decent amount of people on this forum were all gung ho about this team returning to the super bowl. if missing bosa goes from winning a super bowl to missing the playoffs this team wasn't very good to begin with

Absolutely not. Unless we have all of our players healthy, and all of our skill players firing on all cylinders, we will not sniff the playoffs. Jimmy g is not good enough to take a team on his back like brees, mahomes, russel Wilson, Big Ben, Brady etc.
We have a mid tier quarterback, a mid tier wr corps, the best TE in the league, with a top 5 defense, and a top 5 running game (when healthy). Because we have a mid tier qb, we need all of our stars healthy in order to be relevant in any capacity.

I think it's a tall order. I see us going 8-8 and next year trying to find Kyle a Matt Ryan type of QB in the draft.

I'm still watching every game and I'll be pumped. It hurts so much because I feel like we drop from a serious contender to just a semi contender.
