meh you can't compare them like that IMO

Seattle's first two weeks they had 98 passing attempts against them.
SF's first two weeks they had 72 passing attempts against them.

Just more opportunities to gets sacks/TFL/QB hits etc...

I'll add Murray week one got rid of the ball about as quickly as you could vs that DL. I want to say we had 15 pressures that game.

Please don't take my post out of context. I was replying to that silly post that said Seattle's D line was beyond horrible. Plus if we lost another 6 DL players like that post said we'd be a lot worse than them. lolz

i definitely think we lose a couple extra games, that's for sure. also im not sure we sweep the rams either. at best I think we split with every team in the division. at best

might be a shootout with Seattle twice...

either way, offense is REALLY going to have to step it up this year. like they had to at crucial times last year.

gotcha, IMO Seattle's DL is pretty bad regardless. I also don't think we've played up to the standards we should be as well... it's gonna be harder now that we've lost Bosa and Ford is MIA.

FWIW Seattle lost it's "best" edge rusher in Bruce Irvin to a torn ACL. Collier has been just straight up bad and Reed has been awful rushing the passer.

We will see, Seattle's offense has been the key to their wins so far. SF is gonna have to pump out the points too.

2 of Seattle's sacks came from Adams. While it's still pass rush you're gonna get burned relying on your safety to be your key pass rusher.

Sacking a guy like Matt Ryan is also a little easier than corralling Kyler Murray.

Bingo. People should actually watch the games before simply throwing out stats.

Ugh I wanted Adams in SF so bad. Dude is a monster and would have made this defense soooo much better. Can't throw 2 1sts for him though.

And yes stats are a bit subjective, gotta look at the context of how numbers came about and vs whom.
Ziggy gonna wear #94
Hope he has a little more in his tank for rest of our games. I'm not expecting much but wishing him the best.

I think we can get comparable pass rush out of him if he can stay healthy and Ford comes back. Those are both big if's...and beyond that he wont compare to Bosa in most other aspects, but straight up as a rusher with the right complement on the other side? I think he can pull that off.
Ansah wearing Blair's number 98 and Jordan wearing Thomas' #94. Not sure what happens if Blair comes back Thomas is out all year so no problem there.

Ziggy wearing #94 Jordan wearing #96

Going to be nice to see #94 actually doing something for us.

You mean Ansah #94 and Jordan #98 not #96 right. I had it backwards.
Thank God 49er legend Solomon Thomas has given Ziggy his blessing to wear 94

Over under on Ziggy getting more sacks this year than Solly has in his career? (6 sacks)
