Dolly usually has one good sack a season.

Over under on Ziggy getting more sacks this year than Solly has in his career? (6 sacks)
Over which is really sad

Dude is massive...
Agreed, this guy looks the part for sure. I hope he can avoid the 49er injury curse.

Yep, my guess is that the 49ers offered him a veteran minimum deal, which would have been for $750K against the cap, but $1.05M is what he would have been paid. Maybe they didn't want to give him a signing bonus, if they offered any, it may have been either $45K, $90K, or $137,500, I'm gonna take a guess and say either no bonus or $45K bonus, but he wanted more than the minimum base salary, and a higher signing bonus. Also I'm not sure if he has any incentives, because the reported amount was $3M, so that would be $1.55M in potential incentives, if he got any. If he has incentives it's likely for Sacks, which he only had 2.5 last year, and playing time, which he only played 31.7% of the Seahawks snaps in 2019. So none would count against the cap.

Im surprised more contracts dont have crazy incentives. Players are often overconfident to a fault. You could probably close some deals by offering players a $20 million
bonus for winning SB MVP.

just at first glance, I thought Ziggy looked slow and didn't really bring much pressure. He had 21 snaps, hopefully he's just getting back into the swing of things because overall IMO he didn't look good/explosive at all
Jordan actually looked better than him.

I noticed this too. Hopefully its just rust but its hard to rush the passer when you are 55 years old.

Ziggy could be 55 since no one really knows the exact year he was born.
