Wilson should dress when Coleman comes back. Coleman should be permanent IR or cut. He is the least explosive back on the team.

You replace Jimmy with Mullens last year and I would argue that the 9ers still make the playoffs.
Based off of one game against the giants? Does Mullens go into NO last year and trade TDs with Brees? If you can't see Jimmy clearly has a better skillset then Mullens then idk what to tell you we agree to disagree. Mullens looks solid no doubt. Have not seen anything to show me he's better than Jimmy.

All right so which team can we get to trade for Mullens?
More like who can we trade Jimmy to so we can sign Trent Williams long term.
Jimmy is currently middle of the pack for highest paid QB. His contract was front loaded. If you're going to troll, at least know the basics.
Yeah, but dumping $27 million a year in salary would mean we could pick up a few other contracts. I don't recommend doing it as I don't think Mullens is a starting QB (not yet at least) but let's remember that Jimmy is being paid a lot.
NFL QB's make big, big money. Doesn't matter who you have. The top backups in this league make 8-12 mil. You aren't going to find a starting QB who you can win with for under 20-25 mil a year. Thats not salary you can sacrifice for other positions. You never "save" money on the QB position.
The only time you get top tier QB play for cheap is if you draft a star. Then you get 3-4 years of dirt cheap QB before you have to pay up.
Moving Garoppolo to save money is one of the dumbest ideas ive ever heard.
What?
Not saying we should do it, but how much do you think it would cost to sign Mullens for another three years as a "potential starter" if we cut Jimmy and draft a QB?
