Salah really needs to figure out a solution for running qb's. We allowed Daniel jones to look dual threat today

We need to run that 3-3-5 defense I've been talking about. Lions used it a bit against Kyler Murray in the Detroit win today.

The more and more teams incorporate Air Raid principles against us the more and more the Air Raid Killer defense will be a necessity. Kyler still hasn't convinced me he can beat a team inside a pocket, even if its a clean one. You limit his rushing yards out of the R/O and scrambles, contain Drake on those zone runs and I think their offense becomes pedestrian.

Jimmy is currently middle of the pack for highest paid QB. His contract was front loaded. If you're going to troll, at least know the basics.

Yeah, but dumping $27 million a year in salary would mean we could pick up a few other contracts. I don't recommend doing it as I don't think Mullens is a starting QB (not yet at least) but let's remember that Jimmy is being paid a lot.

NFL QB's make big, big money. Doesn't matter who you have. The top backups in this league make 8-12 mil. You aren't going to find a starting QB who you can win with for under 20-25 mil a year. Thats not salary you can sacrifice for other positions. You never "save" money on the QB position.

The only time you get top tier QB play for cheap is if you draft a star. Then you get 3-4 years of dirt cheap QB before you have to pay up.

Moving Garoppolo to save money is one of the dumbest ideas ive ever heard.

Not saying we should do it, but how much do you think it would cost to sign Mullens for another three years as a "potential starter" if we cut Jimmy and draft a QB?

The lowest paid starting QB who isnt on a rookie contract is Teddy Bridgewater at 21 million per year. Why would Nick Mullens accept less than that to become a starter on a new deal? That would only save us 6 mil. Why would going with a backup with a very limited sample size over a guy you went to the SB with be a good idea? To save 6 mil? Makes no sense.

The Giants D line is their strength. Jet doesn't have three burst of speed that Mostert has. I thought Wilson did well when he had a few series.

hopefully we get to keep him for another year but we will have to put a first round tender on him, even then we may still lose him. That or we trade him to some desperate team.
