Verrett is going to get his first INT of the season this game.

Would love to see him get one. He looked very good his first full game back in quite awhile!

Ward is also long overdue for a pick. He's become very dependable back there and is one of the better tacklers on the team. Now, just add in some more playmaking in the form of an INT. Would be great to see him with 3-4 picks this season.

I just want Jimmie to just get back to playing at the level he was at last year. He has not looked good at all so far

Have to disagree with you somewhat on Ward. I think he's played pretty well so far and has made some key tackles to stop drives in preventing first downs. He looked to either be late on certain coverages vs. the Jets at times when the team was blitzing and thus, Darnold was able to convert. Not sure if that was true or if he was covering for someone else's mess up. But his tackling has been as sure as ever and, as the other poster said, he hasn't given up anything deep.

How so? Has he gotten beat deep? Just because he doesn't have a pick yet doesn't mean he hasn't been playing well

Out of position, bad angles, missed tackles and slow rotations in coverage. I don't care about picks. I prefer a disciplined FS that is always in the right spot and that hasn't been Jimmie.

Guess I'm watching a different guy then

I was on the Jimmie Ward bandwagon last year and I'm not hating on him just to be a hater but his play has been suspect and his PFF grade back it up also at a 45.8. Ahkello is at a 50.1 for reference point for how analytically bad Ward has been.
If Eagles have to face Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, and McKinnon they are in trouble of giving up 35+. Ross dwelly may be the secret weapon with Reed out.

Yeah I think our TE's will have a big game, their linebackers aren't good at all, especially Gerry

That's if our line holds up. Our oline might be the ones in trouble lol
Did Mullens get confirmed as starting or is shanny going to hold out until the last minute?

They're waiting to see if Jimmy can practice.

And plus it makes sense strategically to wait as long as possible to announce

That offense (89 49ers) was so good it put up 4TDs in the 4th quarter against one of the best defenses overall and some call one the best defensive lines of all time.

Ya joe was dropping dimes

I'm so glad we finally have an A+ receiving corps.
