I hope so, specially if Deebo and Aiyuk play. I think Nick can operate the offense as well as Jimmy at this point. I think the limitation of the offense is more on the other players, like the WR, RB etc... i doubt if Jimmy will be traded, but you never know. Whoever is traded (I think it will be Nick) we should get fair compensation for him, like (hopefully) a first round pick! Specially if he destroys the Eagles.

PED's maybe. I know Jennings was suspended for PED use, and that might have been the reason for his decline in performance and him being let go. (Jennings inability to use PED's I mean).

Last year, I believe it was the Rams game, I started to get a feeling that the team was special. I didnt just feel that the team was good, but I felt the team was elite. This year feels different. I know the injuries are there, and that may contribute to the feeling I have. With that being said, So far I do not feel this defense is special this year. The dline last year was one to remember, and it isnt so this year. I dont think any qb fears this defense. And I dont think its going to get better. Who is injured on the defense that is coming back that will take this unit to a superbowl level? No one. We lost Buckner, and that hurt. Now we lost Bosa, and this team wont be able to withstand the loss of two all pros. Its all fun and games when the niners faced Darnold and Jones. Whats going to happen when they have to face Wilson, Rodgers, brees? i dont want to know
