The only thing that keeps Mullens off that list is that he went undrafted.

I'd say it's a little early to judge Herbert and Burrow. Three or 4 games isn't near enough for a fair evaluation, good or bad. Baker Mayfield isn't playing that well. He;s been hit and miss since he was drafted so I'd leave him off the list and replace him with Josh Allen who struggled as a rookie but is playing well this season.

id take jimmy over all of them except mahomes

I don't think I'd take Jimmy over any of them. At worst, they're all at least still young. Jimmy is 30 years old in his 7th year and is still struggling to put it together.

Yes, and anyone outside of homer 49ers circles would as well. Do you think Jimmy would be lighting it up with either Bill O'Brien or Freddie Kitchens as his coach? He has been in a way better situation than either of those guys. And while those guys haven't been perfect, they're still growing while Jimmy has basically flatlined since he's been here.
