we are way too talented to not win at least 8 games. Our schedule is tough. Our division is brutal. But this team is good enough to win 8 games without trying. Not in their makeup to quit either.

Well, Nick needed to touch up his makeup last night.I can live without the Superbowl as long as Seattle doesn't get there, win it all and have Russel slobbering all over the trophy.

What's it matter when were just going to draft another DL and stay stagnant at other positions?

This team is way too talented to tank. First of all, they're way to good to finish with one of the five worst records in the league.
Second, with the expanded playoffs, we might sneak into the playoffs. At that point, you never know what could happen. I mean, the 2007 Wild Card Giants knocked off the 16-0 Patriots. It's rare, but it's worth a shot.

If you think Kyle and Lynch will tank you don't know much about this team.

I don't understand this tank, but then there is a slew of really weird, fly off the handle people here. It is what it is.
Plain and simple, there doesn't need to be a tanking. Either Jimmy comes back and plays pretty well and we still wind up making the playoffs. Or we have the Mullens/Bethard parade and play like last night.
With all the injuries tanking shouldn't even be part of the equation or a thought. The season will go the way it goes and if we go 4-12 because of the injuries we just write it off as a what the heck season and try again.
There is a reason above all else why some NFL teams have been good almost year in and year out. Multiple reasons, actually. But among others if and when there is adversity they don't come up with the asinine idea of "let's tank our season and get the number one overall pick." The Patriots, Steelers, Ravens, Seahawks, Packers, heck even the Dallas Cowboys don't have that mentality. The Dolphins seemingly do. Matt Breida is over there of course. I guess if that's your mentality you can root for his team.
