No, but with the current injuries and way the team is playing, I don't see more than 5-6 wins on the schedule.

Talking about tanking after 4 weeks Isn't being a fan lol
I didn't wait all spring and summer to start wanting to tank 4 weeks in. This season is not starting out like a SB season, but it can still be a winning season.
I can't believe 40% of folks that voted want to tank. Way to undo all the progress that was made over the past 3 seasons, building up a winning culture and winning expectations. That's actually Kyle's greatest achievement with the team so far - getting rid of the stink Tomsula and Chip cooked up.

This fanbase is so soft sometimes. 2-2 start with 10 injured starters and it's time to tank? Do you really want to be the team that went from SB loser to top 5 pick? Just so the same people who say we should tank can b***h about how bad we are. Gtfoh.

Can we permanently change the argument to "do you want to lose for a higher draft pick?"
As people already mentioned... there's no such thing as tanking in the NFL.

Bottomline, offensive line can't block. Defensive line can't pass rush. Kinlaw is decent, but he isn't Buckner. Look at what the Colts are doing and tell me we don't miss him. Armstead has been okay at best.

NO need to tank it, just keep using Mullens... Been telling you guys that he's the key to The Trevor Lottery !!

Losing in the trenches. Gotta replenish offensive and defensive line.

Benching Garappolo when hes healthy and starting Mullens is basically what tanking is though

No need to tank. This team will compete but will still get beat anyway here and there with all the injuries. We'll get a nice position if that's what you're after.

Well, my definition of tanking would be, deliberately fielding inferior players in order to lose. And there is no way that Shanahan and Lynch would permit that. It isn't happening. If we go down, Shanahan and Lynch will ensure that it is with guns blazing. This thread and the premise behind it is not worthy of the team or of the bulk of its supporters.
