That only resolves 21 of the 40 his D gave up...who gets the blame for the other 22 points his D gave up?

We lost our veteran leaders. Buck, Sanders, and staley.

Buck >>> AA

Everyone knew this except Shanny / Lynch

Watching the Colts right now. They may have sealed their fate trading him. Defo is singlehandedly keeping the Colts in it. His name keeps being called.

He's not an all pro for no reason. We paid the wrong guy.

Shanny is being exposed for not being a complete HC. Shanny largely has the offensive personnel he wants. Yet this is the result.

That's because the 9ers under Shanny doesn't have a legit passing game. If you can stop 9ers' run game, you have a very good chance in beating this team. There are no big outside WRs and we don't throw the ball down the field.

Bingo! And that's on Shanny. Lynch is deferring to Shanny way too much on personnel.

You don't have to be big to be a deeep threat. Aiyuk in college was one of the biggest deep threats in the country. We don't have the QBs to get the ball deep and accurately. We also don't have the line to give the QBs time. We have the WR though

Yeah? Where's that deep threat at now? And we largely have the O-line THAT SHANNY WANT'S!! We have the WR's that Shanny wants, WR's that cannot get open deep. These are excuses designed to protect Shanny from criticism. It's been the defense that's been most effect by injuries. I understand the3 defense being torched. There's no excuse for the offense looking this bad with the personnel that Shanny called for.

Yes, that is absolutely true. Our O-line is totally compromised for Shanny's run game because that was what he wanted. I raised that years ago, our O-linemen are just too small and weak for pass-pro. Remember, run-blocking can always mask how crap a lineman is. But, Shanny's priority was on the run game, so we ended up with a bunch of run-blocking linemen. Give you an example, why do you think Richburg couldn't even play for the Giants? Because he was too crap at pass-pro.

Which is EXACTLY why I'm saying. Shanny has been exposed in this game.

No hasn't. Can't even put it fully on Jimmy with this oline. We are going to be close to being a team in on TL. It's literally an unintended tank. That's a college team out there. Injuries happen
Shanahan isn't a good decision maker and you can take that however you'd like.

Salah is getting the blame for this loss. I agree

Maiocco saying the mistake was starting Jimmy G when he couldn't even finish a practice....and he is ranting on coaching choices to start a call up DB on Saturday. Look like a disorganized football team.....good for him

If Jimmy can't finish a practice then he never should have been playing. He's not some bonafide vet that doesn't need to practice in order to play.

I believe Shanny was desperate hoping Jimmy would do enough to win this much needed game.

where do we go from here?????

With the upcoming schedule, it's going to get really ugly if the Dolphins can serve a blowout.

we have no chance the next 5-6 weeks. I'm still gonna watch and cross my fingers though.

Does he even have any say over Saleh ?

When you're out your best 3 cbs and a practice squad cb costs you at least 21-24 points as well as a practice squad nickle cb and no Bosa or no Ford......People should wonder why we gave up that much passing yards and could not get that much pressure on the opposing team. Sometimes I think fans don't understand why we lost they still expect to win every game with backups & practice squad players.

I'm sure Sherman Williams Moseley Ford Bosa would of made Fitz look like absolute garbage.

No your right...but we won't have most of them for awhile, Bosa next season. After today, I'm betting Jimmy is gonna be out even more to let that ankle heal as that'll probably be the excuse this week.
Looked like he didn't or could not firmly plant on it and throw, let CJ keep playing till Jimmy's ankle is 100%. I don't know if we're more than an 8/8 with all these injuries sadly, especially with the horrid O line play
WOW Whitner just called Witherspoon soft S-O-F-T
Why does Kyle like to get cute on short yardage situations?

Well, if this embarrassing "effort" doesn't shame our team into playing better, nothing will. Offense is a mess...QB play's been spotty, at best. OL bears a good deal of the shame, though. Even Williams & Tomlinson are struggling some...but from Garland to McGlinchey they're flat-out horrible in pass protection. Lynch & Coach's approach of failing to draft topflight OL is biting them squarely in the butt. They've spent a ton of $$ on the DL...but their depth isn't good enough, to wit what's happening now. Hyder's really the only real playmaker in that group right now. He can't do it alone. Kinlaw will be a beast...but, it's going to take some time. Secondary's really getting exposed...sure, it's b/u CB's mostly now, but again, the depth has to be better than it is. Coach & Lynch will have to make some very tough decisions...some now, some after this season. They need to move on from a number of players...Thomas, Coleman, maybe Jimmy, Juszczyk, McGlinchey, Richburg (good player, but can't stay on the field). They must strengthen their trenches...primarily through the draft. They'll have to invest in their OL...no more signing aging vets. This season may well be a huge wake-up call. They may also become part of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. Wow.

We have depth, but even our depth is hurt. We're starting our 5th string corner and our 3rd string edge rusher.
