He's soft af

Using Jet on that 4th down failed conversion was an head scratcher.

Soft AF

It honestly seems like Kyle doesn't have a foundation he can rely on so he's just trying anything at this point. We always had the run game last year, this year was got nothin

He gets too cute instead of focusing on the basics more often than not.

For someone who's supposed to be a play-calling guru. McVay seems to be that right now.

We need to get back to running it down the oppositions throats. Like we did last season against the panthers.

Salah is getting the blame for this loss. I agree

He shouldn't be. This is on Shanny. While the defense is injured all over the place the offense is largely healthy. Shanny has the offensive personnel HE wants. I expect the defense to get torched all season with all the injuries. The defense is missing close to 50% of the starters. PS players are starting for christ sakes. This isn't on the defense. The offense cannot score points, with Shanny's guys. Shanny's got the O-line he want, the RB's he wants, and the WR's he wants.

His play design and scheme really isn't the problem. It's his personnel choice. The O-line has gotten manhandled. His WR's can't get open. His vision of O-line and WR is what's failing this team.

This season is over.

I can't believe how bad Kyle is in short yardage and late game clock management situations

For me, with all thats happened in 2020 and looking forward to the 2020 NFL season, we started off slow but a win today would have ignited that hope for something to happen this season. The loss today just basically closed the door on that. I don't expect Jimmy to play the next couple of weeks which means L's against the Rams and Hawks.

Today's loss was something I never saw coming. Not just losing, but the way they lost.....almost like it was fixed or something (it wasn't). Some things are starting to trend, like piss poor pass protection and a lack of pressure on the opposing QB. I'm not throwing in the towel, but I really have no idea what I'll see next week.

Dolphins aren't even good

The beat down by Tampa in the playoffs was the worst. It was at that point that I knew the decades of 49er dominance was over.

That was a bad game but we shouldn't of even been in that game considering what happened the week prior. And the Bucs went on to win the SB, so clearly they were very good....this Dolphins team won't even make the playoffs, and we made Fitzpatrick look like Dan Marino

That was so bad, even the cardboard cutout fans left early

The 40-8 beatdown that Phillips put on US in 94 was a head scratcher. I'm still trying to figure out how they team got beat so bad.

THIS AINT NOTHING LIKE 94 LOL

We look like an 8-8 team
Watching this thread is far more entertaining than watching the game...

the 49-3 loss to the NY Giants playoffs was really really bad...

Some of those losses to the LOB Seahawks were horrible too. The 27-3 game where Sherman returned a blocked FG for a TD really hurt

The Roger Craig and Kyle Williams games hurt too
Kyle Williams game was especially painful cause the niners were just on the cusp of being good after a decade of bad years.

And yet everyone was saying how exposed and uncreative McVay was in 2019.

Sometimes I think fans don't understand why we lost they still expect to win every game with backups & practice squad players.

I'm sure Sherman Williams Moseley Ford Bosa would of made Fitz look like absolute garbage.

Very true, however, one of them can't stay on the field more than 6 games a year and Bosa is gone for the year, Sherm isn't getting any younger but probably still the best corner but they need to start looking for a replacement. Williams & Moseley are solid.

Just too much attrition on both sides of the ball to compete and that's just facts.

It sux our team went to the SB last year and most of us know this year is forked already and we gotta wait another 10 months for the opportunity to be really competitive again.

The team is still solid and will bounce back but they really should address some spots on the oline,cb,and get rid of Ford and get another edge, he's good but not if he can only play 6-8 games a year.

Could be worse, could be Detroit or the Browns,Jets, Jax, Raiders, etc who are lucky to get to the playoffs every 8-10 years.
