And yet everyone was saying how exposed and uncreative McVay was in 2019.

And he bounced back, like how Kyle will next year

McVay unlike Kyle will possibly have 3 winning seasons out of the last 4 while Kyle it looks more like he will have 3 loosing seasons out of the last 4.

and he is winning with a roster that is supposely not as good as the one he inherit...

Disagree. After Rice fumbled the ball, I knew that game was over. He literally fumbled the ball untouched, and surely woulda scored a long TD. That play set the tone for the entire game. The Giants were simply a better team that year anyways - but certainly not 49-3 better. The Vikings loss was so far more disheartening, that whatever is second worst, it's not comparable. Not to me at least.

Disappointing loss, on to LA rams. I feel Donald will get so much attention that the edge rushers will be teeing off on mcglinchey.

They'll just run 2 and drop 9.

We look like an 8-8 team

I know

8-8? have you guys lost your minds? We're not a 6 win team. We cannot stop anyone. We're injured long-term in the worst positions. We're starting PS players. Our HC is fully in his ego about the WR and O-line positions, and it's showing. There's no way we're a .500 team.
I dont trust this shanny nor lynch to make good personal decisions

Dolphins aren't even good

Damn you're a young pup. You've yet to really experience or seen some really bad terrible games welcome to the heartache clubs

Considering that I've been around for Erickson, Nolan, Singletary, Tomsula,& Kelly. I'd say I've experienced more than enough terrible games by this team.

McVay walked into a complete roster. Kyle didnt have that until last year.

Context is key.

This theory was proven wrong 3 years ago.

Also this is year 4 for Kyle and Lynch...outside of a couple of guys like AA they made this current roster of garbage.

The 40-8 beatdown that Phillips put on US in 94 was a head scratcher. I'm still trying to figure out how that team got beat so bad.

Definitely a head scratcher, but I think that was all a mental/attitude issue - plus, a bunch of new talent/free agents. They got it worked out and got on a roll. Playmakers all over the field on that team. Losing Sanders, Davis, and Watters off that team really stung, however.

Shanny is being exposed for not being a complete HC. Shanny largely has the offensive personnel he wants. Yet this is the result.

That's because the 9ers under Shanny doesn't have a legit passing game. If you can stop 9ers' run game, you have a very good chance in beating this team. There are no big outside WRs and we don't throw the ball down the field.

Bingo! And that's on Shanny. Lynch is deferring to Shanny way too much on personnel.

Problem is Lynch can't tell Shanny to start throwing the ball down field if he doesn't want to. Shanny is stuck with all his pre-snap misdirection gimmicks and throwing the ball for 5 yards to rely on the WRs' YAC. So, I don't think I can blame that on Lynch. What Shanny needs to do is to have a road map for advancing the offense. You can't just call the same ole plays all the time. He needs to build on it.

I don't blame this on Lynch, at all. I think you are misreading me. I blame Shanny, not his scheme, his choice of personnel to run it.

Well, the schemes and personnel are related. If Shanny only wants the WRs to run after short catches, he is only after shifty WRs. Do we even have a scheme to throw the ball outside of the numbers down field? No, we don't. I think we both agree Shanny needs to develop that facet of his offense. And once we start doing that, then naturally we will need some bigger outside WRs.

I have been saying this. Shanny's vision of the WR position is a bunch of speedy slot-style WR's who cannot get open on their own. And his vision of the O-line isn't any better, because unlike the defense the offense is largely healthy. There's no excuse for this offensive output.

They get open all day. O-line does suck tho. EVEN WILLIAMS

I will say it again, our O-line is compromised for run-blocking because that was Shanny's priority in establishing his run game. That also explains why our line sucks so bad for pass-pro because they are not built for that. I kind of brought that up years ago, I knew it would come back to bite us in the backside. If you want better protection for Jimmy, this line will have to be massively reshaped.

We're gonna have a great upcoming offseason. I am already excited about our top five pick.

Agree, particularly at the positions of biggest need right now.

That loss has nothing on the Minnesota loss in 1987. That's easily the worst one I can think of.

Don't forget '89, and that's even with losing an all-pro Jeff Fuller to a career-ending injury. They went 126-26 in the post season just steamrolling the Vikings, Rams, and Broncos. The '87 team was #1 in offense and defense that year. Always wondered "what if" Montana doesn't have that slight knee injury against Chicago late in the season. The Saints appeared to be the big obstacle that year - oh well.
I agree 100 percent with Whitner there. The revenge tour label was dumb.

2-12 is our future. Trade or cut Jimmy move on from there.

Go get Rogers if we can't get the Clemson kid.
