dont get pissed at Brian Allen.

dude literally went from the practice squad to the starting role. Witherspoon shouldve been playing. Beathard should have been starting.

what in the world is going on with this coaching staff?

I would rather they had moved Ward to CB instead of having Allen in there, and then to not even roll a safety to that side when he was getting torched? Next man up mentality is great, but at some point, you gotta give the guys some help. Can't give Jimmy a pass for the ankle, really upsetting performance. The super bowl sucked, but these last 5 games have been as discouraging as any stretch that I can recall going back quite a ways.

I'm a JG guy, but I have to say that today was really disheartening. I know that he has the ankle, but it feels a bit like he moves like Dan Marino back there since the ACL. If he can't shuffle out of the way it's over.

Why do people act like the Niners never had great QB's?? We had Montana and Young, two of the all-time greats. Montana has 4 SB rings, and Steve Young has the same amount as Wilson. Wilson can put up all the stats he wants but won't mean a thing if his team doesn't win the SB.

The average 49er fan is in their 30s, and most of them have never watched either of those guys play. It's all ducktales as far as the average fan is concerned. They see with their very own eyes Russell Wilson kicking their ass every year.

There was another 3 hours wasted hoping somehow MN would win, and would have if they kicked the damn field goal because SEA didn't get the 2 point conversion.

I KNEW just as soon as they were stopped that RW was going to drive the field for the TD.

Not like Cousins was gonna pull a RW but that last pass was not a fumble, refs were wet and cold and ready to go eat dinner.

I guess it will sweeter to see SEA loose in the playoffs or the SB when they play a team with a good O&D, sure won't be us this year.

Absolutely, been 21 years since Young took that final hit against AZ. Today, we were down by three scores and I just felt like it was over. I miss that feeling that our team's never out of the game.

And on a sidenote, both Montana and Young were extremely mobile quarterbacks. Montana was the best qb at throwing on the run, I've ever seen, maybe until Rodgers. Young is self-explanatory.

The Niners always - well, at least for those who started at least two or more seasons - have had mobile qbs since Montana. Montana, Young, Garcia, Smith, Kaepernick
