Judging from warm-ups, the 49ers will have a surprise starter at CB today: Brian Allen. He was on the practice squad on Saturday morning. He appeared in 16 games for Steelers in '17, '18, but has no starts. He has good size (6-3, 215) and 34-inch arms (rare for a DB).
