Should Shanalynch make trades for a playoff run.

If we do trade, we need a deep burner playmaker wr like Sanders. And defensive line help for pass rush.
No. I don't think we want to trade away our higher picks this year. I am hoping that enough starters will return from injury for us to make a reasonable go at the rest of the season and, hopefully, the playoffs. But I have a great deal of confidence in the team's drafting ability.
If 6-0 I would consider it.
Don't need a burner WR(James?) in this offense, its a luxury
DL help on the way when Blair gets back
Not a fan of selling picks to band aid a .500 team
Guess I'm on the stand pat side

Those are two quantities every team cherishes. To get either one would require a high price. With so many players coming up for their 2nd contract in the next two years, our focus needs to be on drafting well to keep as much cap as we can.

Only if it's in exchange for day 3 picks, so probably no impact trades like ESanders last season. With some of the re-signs coming up on the horizon, filling out the roster with cheap talent (2021 rookies) will become more important. Overall, no.
We have way to much invested in our receivers already. We need to stand pat on that and start investing in edge rushers

Oh the ironing.......

And again, no to trading picks. One player will not make too much of a difference for this team. This isn't like the NBA or MLB where one position player will make a ton of difference. I would let the season play out as-is. If the 49ers fail to make the playoffs, then retool for 2021. If the 49ers make the playoffs, then make the best of the situation.

i think he needs to cut pettis and sign suggs or mathews... or if washington will bite on the trade that espn suggested. do that
We are stacked on offense, if we trade it will be for DE/edgerusher but I think we can stand pat and make a run this year. Next year we go all in when Bosa is back. This teams window is gonna be open for a while but we can't wait too long
Trade Jimmy G for Russell Wilson
See how the next two games turn out. If they are 5-3 then see what's out there.
Emanuel Sanders- traded a lot for a one year rental. I thought they should have re signed him, but oh well
Dee Ford- In hind sight a second rounder was a lot for someone who never sees the field.
Dante Pettis- trading up in second round- ouch
Wins so far- trading for Trent Williams.

I say a trade for one of our players, Pettis, Kwon Alexander, Mullens, would be preferable over trading draft capitol. I would only trade if the team gave us another lower round pick or a swapping of draft slots.

Right now I would be happy with deadweight purge.
We don't need a burner. We have one of the best in college in Aiyuk at the deep ball. We don't have the proper OL or QB to pull it off with consistency. We need some pass rushing help because all we have is Hyder. Go after Kerrigan.
Armsdud and our first for Buckner.
