It's Atkins not Adkins and Dunlap not Dunlop.

And he is a 3t which we drafted Kinlaw for so it doesn't make dollars and it don't make cents.

Lastly, this team is not going to trade AA after they just resigned him in March. Get used to him being here for now.

Agree he isn't going anywhere.

AA is the #8 ED in the league. His play has been consistent all season long - equal with last season. You just don't trade a guy who has stayed at that level. Yes, it would be nice to have a better pass rusher, however, it is not his fault that Bosa and Ford are not available to do what they were signed to do. AA is doing his part.

I would do it if we could make trades for lower round picks (5-7) in 2021 or mid round picks in 2022. But it depends on who is available. I would love to get Ryan Kerrigan to help the pass rush. Or maybe take a flyer on signing Clay Matthews as an FA. We also desperately need another Center. I think it was short sighted of Lynch and Shanahan not to add a higher quality Center before the season when it was clear that Richburg couldn't start the season, and Garland was hurt in training camp. We had a shot at Kilgore, but we must have low-balled him, cause we couldn't get an agreement, and he signed with KC.

Play with what you have. They already wasted money on Ansah and a 3rd rd pick for Sanders.

Next years draft picks will have added value with teams uncertain about how low next years salary cap is going to be. Only trade logical at this point could be John Ross from Cincinnati for Dante Pettis. Dunno if you could move mullens and another for Aldon Smith. Feel like Shanahan may have yanked his value after benching him and demoting him to third string.

Stand pat. We could still make things interesting down the stretch if we get players back from injury lists and stay healthy in other areas. But I'm more optimistic for next season.... especially if we hold on to our top draft picks. 2020 was always going to be a weird season. Lots of off the field stuff going on that certainly is affecting the on field product.
