Absolutley 100% Not (if were talking about picks).....HONESTLY.

At this time in the season and the way that this season is going right now there is no one that can convince me otherwise. We can mortgage our future for mediocrity now. Its not going to be enough to just slide into the playoffs and I would prefer to not give away and picks.

If picks are NOT involved and maybe straight up trades then I am ok with that. Pettis...ive had enough of. Coleman if had enough but you wont get much for them.

Also, I don't know what it is about people thinking the window is closing. If it weren't for injuries we would be top 5. Other teams are just starting to get hit with the bug too.

No. Not really any value out there worth trading for. Give up draft picks ??? Idk, with the amount of injuries and FA's we need to stand pat

Why would they move Aldon? Come on bro

Because some Niner fan wants him.

this. Possibly Takkarist McKinley in ATL as well (though I think he's banged up right now).

espn did a hypothetical trade deadline and how to scenarios for SF.

1st scenario was Witherspoon or Moore for Njoku

2nd scenario was Pettis and a 5th rd pick for Kerrigan, which I'd do in a heartbeat.

FWIW SF should be getting a 5th rd comp for Sanders.

Sounds like some Madden moves there by ESPN.

1: would trade spoon or Moore in a heartbeat for Njkoku. Totally worth the risk.

2: no brainer indeed. Make that trade ASAP!!!

I'd gladly do both of those trades

That would be fkn awesome!!! I wish we made a move for him this offseason. That really would be awesome and have him comeback and dominate
Kerrigan would be the Only player we should consider trading for right now since we desperately need a quality edge rusher.

I don't think they would, but with the way they look maybe they start trying to get some picks for next year. Just wishful thinking more than anything but there have been much more surprising moves than that

And as bad as they have looked they are still in playoff position due to a terrible division.
This team is 3-3 with 2 of the wins coming against really bad teams. The Jets are one of the worst teams I've seen in years. We also have the toughest schedule in the league the rest of the way. I don't see much hope for making the playoffs let alone advancing. With this schedule it would be tough even with our whole team healthy. I don't want to give up any draft picks for a player at this point.

NE is 2-3. I think we need to see how we play once JG has settled in. He really hasn't had a chance to and was looking sharp in that 2nd game prior to getting hurt.

Now that the Falcons fired Quinn and Dimitrioff, how about giving them a call for Alex Mack, Dante Fowler or shoot even Grady Jarrett (doubt they could take on his contract).
Only trades i'd make

If we swap player for player
if we swap picks and players (late rounds only) like we get player A and a 6th rounder and they get our 5th rounder
If we trade a player for a pick like trade Pettis for a 7th rounder

Or if we trade a mid rounder and who will be under contract for more than a year. like the opposite of the Emanuel Sanders trade.

I'd probably only trade for a pass rusher or oline help unless we trade Pettis for another underachieving WR.
I think we can do this with our current squad.

Our road to the playoffs:

@ NE: Win
@ Sea: Loss
GB: Win
@NO: Loss
@LA: Win
Buf: Loss
Was: Win
@Dal: Win
@Ari: Win
Sea: Loss

9-7... and maybe, ever so maybe having the pleasant surprise of getting healthy right before the playoffs. Games I could see switching are the GB and NO games (went with the W vs. GB because we have had Laluer's number lately). I really want to say we can beat Buffalo with them traveling to Santa Clara for the game, but they might just be too strong. Must win tight games are @LA and @ Ari.

There's not going to be 7+ teams in the NFC with 10/11 wins. It'll probably take an 8-8/9-7 record to get the 7th seed in the NFC.
