Should Shanalynch make trades for a playoff run.

NE is 2-3. I think we need to see how we play once JG has settled in. He really hasn't had a chance to and was looking sharp in that 2nd game prior to getting hurt.

Jimmy isn't a QB that will take the team on his shoulders and win games with big plays. He's not that type. No matter how good he is, he needs a healthy line which has just had a couple of injuries and a healthy defense to support him. Now they will be without their best running threat. This will be the first week that NE has practiced in the last 3 weeks because of COVID shutdowns. The rest of the schedule would have been hard for last years team. That team went 5-3 down the stretch as the schedule got tougher.

Kerrigan would be the Only player we should consider trading for right now since we desperately need a quality edge rusher.

Now that the Falcons fired Quinn and Dimitrioff, how about giving them a call for Alex Mack, Dante Fowler or shoot even Grady Jarrett (doubt they could take on his contract).

Mack and Fowler would be worth a look, but I think they would probably want too much for Grady. ( And his contact may be too much like u said ).

JUST SIGN CLAY!!!!
I'm torn on making trades and giving away picks this season. Just don't have the confidence in our offense without Mostert to carry this team through the brutal schedule and make the playoffs. We'll see

not talking about 1st round picks. but ShanaLynch do better mid rounds anyway.

you dont want to give up really any capital if you have almost no to 0 shot at making the post season or are in a good position to. Niners have to see how the next couple weeks go. but if they think they can start winning right now at this very second, well obviously the front-office knows way more and has better judgement than me or you.

I mean you're comment was saying why would we and then you brought up LA they gave up a bunch of 1st rd picks...again no one is saying to do that.

If they don't think they can make the playoffs then they should be sellers.

I got no problem moving a day 3 pick and a guy to upgrade.

Remember we're getting a 5th rd comp more than likely for Sanders moving on

right, no one is saying that, but my point with bringing up LA was they were around .500 as well, and were in a much worse spot to bargain and mortgage anything in the first place compared to where the niners were last season.
What would you guys say to a trade of Dante Pettis for Arden key straight up? Two draft busts that hope a change of scenery can help.

They took a shot at getting one of the best CBs in football...cost them a TON.

I'm saying if they can move a player and a day 3 pick to upgrade, why not? They're getting a 5th rd comp for Sanders.

They can move around in the draft to get more picks if need be.

I just see no point in bringing up LA. Big difference in mortgaging 1st rd picks vs day 3 picks imo.

well I did see a point in bringing up LA. not repeating myself. so get over it.
SF is in need of edge rushers so bad they were lining up Kin on the edge on SNF

you're right. let's do what the Rams did last year and mortgage all our draft capital sitting 4th in the NFC West at .500. Good plan.

I mean what we giving up? How would this be mortgaging the future? No one is talking about giving up a bunch of 1st rd picks.

You telling me you wouldn't give up a 5th and Pettis for Kerrigan? lol PLUS we should be getting a comp 5th for losing Sanders anyway. I'd also think about moving Spoon for something too.

Make it happen!!!
