Pettis stinks too 💩

Pettis has actually performed in the NFL, tho. Some team is going to see what he did his rookie year and believe they can extract that out of him.

Arden Key just flat out sucks. He's never done squat.

His pass rush rating this year is 67.5. Just above average. He's a liability in run defense, based on rating. Trade for Pettis straight up? OK. ho-hum

Dion Jordan is not quite as good in pass rush but a better run defender.

Kerrigan would be the Only player we should consider trading for right now since we desperately need a quality edge rusher.

He comes with an $11M cap hit. Contract is up at the end of this year. Another rental deal.

If his number can fit in the cap and they win these next 2 games, I say go for it. Beating Pats and Seahawks would make them serious contenders.

well in terms of record, and the remaining schedule we face, it is relatable. so agree to disagree buddy

not in terms of what people are talking about regarding mortgaging picks (like you said). So not really relatable. yes agree to disagree brochacho

Correct, just in terms with what I'm talking about and where I'm coming from. pretty relatable when we're talking about mortgaging draft capital in general, as well as where we stand record-wise.l

Thanks
Check in on Alex Mack maybe?

Then give him an extension (say 3 yr deal) to lower his cap hit this yr...also I'm pretty sure his cap hit won't be $11M SF is only reasonable for his future cash, not games he's already paid. Same as Sanders las yr (we didn't take on the full cap hit).

so as far as mortgaging and cost, not even close to relatable. Trade at the deadline with a similar record. relatable

Price in relation to what LA did isn't relatable. It's just not...You can move on with that.

Trading at the deadline in regards to similar records is relatable I get that....also at that point it wasn't even about just last yr with Ramsey. That was a long-term trade, they never planned on letting him walk.

So yes we can move on

So basically the same as when Denver traded for Vernon Davis for 2 6th rd picks. Totally mortgaging the future.

Very relatable. Moving on

Thanks.

If I were Lynch, I would look to acquire some late round picks for the dead weight like Pettis, Witherspoon or even Tevin Coleman. The Niners could use a couple of extra picks to replace the third rounder they traded away this past year to get Aiyuk.

If they were to target anyone, it would be Ryan Kerrigan, DE for the WFT. I think he could be had for a 5th round pick next year. The additional pass rush would be a real help during this hellish stretch and in the playoffs (God willing).

Cool. hopefully they go the route of say Denver vs the route of LA.

I think it's safe to say they won't be going the LA route
