Should Shanalynch make trades for a playoff run.

If they were to target anyone, it would be Ryan Kerrigan, DE for the WFT. I think he could be had for a 5th round pick next year. The additional pass rush would be a real help during this hellish stretch and in the playoffs (God willing).

Agreed

Cool. hopefully they go the route of say Denver vs the route of LA.

I think it's safe to say they won't be going the LA route

Nah

There's such a massive difference between what LA did and what most other teams do on the trade deadline...you literally grabbed the worst case scenario lol.

But you know this.
I mean Chiefs mortgaged their future somewhere down the line but if they get a ring not one fan will complain.

I think if they can get a young DE, they should go for it.

Earlier in the year out here in Denver there were little rumblings that Bradley Chubb may not get his 5th year option picked up. I'm sure it's gonna happen now but it is something I'm sure Lynch has talked to Elway about already

Nope.

Also not a single person including our HC is talking about going full blown LA mode.

Throw out a day 3 pick for an edge rusher. Maybe move a player or two for some extra picks. That's the extent of what everyone is talking about here.

Honestly draft picks are overvalued in the NFL circles tbh. So thinking your future is done cause you don't have draft picks is a bit hyperbolic. If you don't have a QB you can have 10 picks a draft your still not gonna win s**t. Yes that's a shot at Trent Baalke

I absolutely hate the way the second option is worded because it's very inaccurate. This team's window IS NOT closing. I hate the whole "window" thing to begin with...if you're a well-run organization with a good HC and a good GM + front office along with a very good QB1 & other impact players, you always have a chance any given year. All this is what the Niners have.

This year is already a very challenging year due to all the key injuries, but some key guys will return before long and I like the way this team responded last Sunday. They have to keep it up and improve on a few areas going forward, no doubt about it.

About whether the Niners need to make a trade or not: I want to see how this team performs these next two games before the deadline. One of the very thin areas is at C with Garland now out. Might not be able to wait too long to do something there.

True true
I would not lose any more draft picks
so if we trade it's player vs player
or i would even accept we send a player who will become FA to get a draft pick
Trade Mullins and Kwon to the Cowboys for Aldon Smith

Dante Pettis- trading up in second round- ouch
Wins so far- trading for Trent Williams.

I say a trade for one of our players, Pettis, Kwon Alexander, Mullens, would be preferable over trading draft capitol. I would only trade if the team gave us another lower round pick or a swapping of draft slots.

Agree with this. Have to get picks for OL, CB, and an DE to develop. Unfortunately you have to add Alexander to that group too.
