Yeah but we weren't going to shutdown Metcalf but the expectation was Jimmy and the offense would put up points to stay ahead...obviously that plan failed miserably.

If you give QBs that protection then they should be required to fully give themselves up, just like with punt returners calling for a fair catch. You either do a full front slide or you take whatever you get. This twisting, sideways sliding stuff is BS, its totally against the spirit of the rule.

Huh? I was agreeing with you on Ward being an idiot. He gave every reason for the ref to throw a flag by lowering his helmet to the point he was not looking at what he was hitting.

Agreed. If youre making a "football" move then you should still be fair game
