Nick's release speed and ball velocity appear to be ahead of where Jimmy is at right now.

Jimmy seems to be having issues top-to-bottom affecting every aspect that could be affected in a qb.

You do have a choice it's not to hit him. Ward was looking for contact and lowered his helmet. He was completely unaware of the fact that Wilson was sliding low and in the process hit him in the head helmet to helmet. I don't think Ward is a dirty player but he is a clueless one. That was a bad play on his part.

Wilson stopped his slide attempt to get a few extra yards. If ward does not try wilson gets a TD.

You're assuming he gets a TD. I think he was just stretching the Slide but was going down irregardless. Either way it's on the Defender not to hit the QB giving up on the play in the head and not the other way around.
Just put Jimmy on IR for 3 weeks.

Well at least Nick can feel good because he played against prevent D. But lets be real, he's just a backup. Defenses will gameplan around his noodle arm.

If he is just a backup, then what does that make JG?

Lol at you dumb dumbs thinking Ward is in the wrong on the Wilson hit. Wilson played a stupid game and won a stupid price. Ward did his job.

and someone earlier said Ward was wrong for looking for contact. I want my defenders looking for contact. JFC.
Nick is smarter than Jimmy. We can't win with Kyle not trusting his quarterback to take his chances on offense.

Garbage time stats are great. Can't wait for people to jump right back on the Mullens bandwagon.

That being said, we need to IR Jimmy G until his ankle is 100%. He has not looked good most of this season. His throws are sailing high because he can't plant hard.

This. They tried to work around the injury and Shanahan did he best he could but its time to sit him and keep him off the field until he's all the way healthy.

If Mullens sux or not doesn't matter It's time to move on from Jimmy.

Amazing how a high ankle sprain on your kick out leg can effect your throwing motion.
Nick makes f**king decisions quickly, that's what I like abou thim.

Shanahan's postgame press conference:

"We need to play better. I need to call a better game."

"We missed some key plays that hurt us".

"I'm sure Jimmy would like to have some plays back."

Expect the usual b******t.

Yep no one is ever held accountable.... Mostly himself.

Would you feel better if Jed held a press conference with Shanahan and publicly scolded him?

Pretty much this. The whole "hold himself accountable" stuff is laughable nonsense. This is a coach that took a cratered shell of a roster and took it to the SB in a few years and has done the best he can with some terrible injury issues this season. He's shown what he can do when he has the pieces he needs but even the lovechild of Bill Walsh and Vince Lombardi wouldn't have this patchwork roster rolling.
It's great to see logic and common sense in the gameday thread.
Lol the Mullen's fans are gonna be deafening
