SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - 2020 Game 8

Two years? f**k that. You bring in a vet like Ryan or Fitz and draft a rookie mid-1st round before rolling with Mullens for two years.
Is anyone else ok with the fact that Ward smoked Wilson?

We've been flagged multiple times this year because these QBs bait the refs, so if you're going to get the penalty anyway, make it count.

Warner's injury was just a stinger.

I hated that some clown in this thread speculated he broke his collarbone.

One person was laughing about it.
I missed that but sadly it doesn't surprise me. When we're losing this place turns into a cesspool.

More than OK. Thought the flag was BS.

As a stopgap I would only consider M. Ryan.

I wouldnt go the Fitz route.

He got sent to Banned Camp though.

Yeah that rule is silly, I get no wanting QBs to get lit up, but it gives them such an advantage makes defenders hesitate

OMG Kyle took some blame..... Thank you!

He should. They blitzed on third down for three quarters and he didn't call any screens until Mullens came in. At least none that I recall.

They were begging to get gashed by the short passing game and he kept having the QB drop back with their back to the D.

I dont understand how one week he can call a great game and the next cannot make an obvious adjustment.

That's the point, this regime is not well at making adjustments. They go in with their game plan and live or die with it.

The hit on Dalton last week. Penalty? Absolutely. Ejected? Absolutely. Suspension? Should have been one.

This one today is ridiculous. You cannot allow the QB to have it both ways like they do. It is impossible for defenders on these plays and on the defenseless receiver rules.

I dont think this is true.

I feel like KS usually adjusts. Saleh on the other hand.
Where tf do we start?

We're in shambles.

This, combined with a lack of holding penalties, is why I think the league is almost forcing teams to get a QB who can scramble around. It provides a whole different element to the offense when on third you can either chuck it into coverage for a PI or fake a slide into a defender. Free fifteen and a first down more times than not.

Outschemed and outcoached. OL was not good and lacking the same edge the last couple of weeks. The merry-go-round of injuries is just too much to overcome. Just shut down Jimmy G the rest of the year and have Mullens/Beathard finish the rest of the year. My brain is now thinking of grabbing a QB with our first pick and get what we can get for Jimmy on a trade. What are the implications cap wise if we move on from him after this season? Hello Zach Wilson!
