There's still hope.

Why do you want this team in the playoffs. They clearly don't have it.

If we get a little healthy and our run game is going we could do damage if we put it in Jimmy's hands not so much

This is what I don't get. Too much of the fan base is still in denial. I'm wondering if it's cause we made it to the SB last year. People seem to think Wel wave a magic wand an win games. They don't get at least 50% of the talent that got us to the SB is on IR. One or two wins in the reg season don't mean s**t. This roster is decimated.

What do you think would happen if we saw the seahawks or Saints or s**t even eagles in the playoffs. We stand no chance. JG10s ankle is not healthy. Our OL is trash( which probably caused jimmys ankle injury) we have no pass rush. We lose one RB every game amongst other starters.

It's miraculous we're 4-4. It's ok to be realistic, doesn't make you not a fan to call it how it is. I want a SB trophy not just a "good season an playoff appearance" so I'm waiting for 2021. Nothings happening this season.

Unfortunately, you are right on

He's right. The season is over. I'm just hoping for a few competitive games here and there and getting crappy players like Ward off the field and trying out some youth.
I'm just going to pretend we lost a nail biter at the end.

A loss is a loss. Until we're mathematically out of it I have hope we can jump the Rams and Bears.

Pretty spot on.

At this point, it would be better for us to lose out and get the highest draft pick possible to have a chance at one of the top QB prospects.
To blame:

50% Coaching & Game Plan
25% Offensive Line
25% Jimmy Boy

Not saying we would have won if the above was fixed but at least we would come out of it with a good showing.

But I blame Jimmys limitations for the gameplan.

Yes. Otherwise we would've blasted them with that "horizontal stretch offense" you've been raving about all week, right?

it is. its being realistic. but too many of the stubborn old guys on here call it "fair weather fan stuff or not a true niner fan". nothing wrong with calling it how it is. stop denying what were seeing right in front of our eyes. tired of this " well if shanahan can do this, or if lynch can trade for this or that" mentality. doesnt matter what you do when you lose 1-3 starters a game.

the worst thing we could do is trade more resources an force an injured JG10 back out there to grind out a pointless 7-9 season that would leave our roster even more injured an our cap space even smaller. that gets us NOWHERE.

im pretty sure shanalynchs goal is a SB win. so if their smart, this week theyl realize thats not happeing in 2020 an theyl get ready for 2021. let mullens or beahteard finish out, let the rookies get reps an experience and try out 2nd stringers to see what they got for next year. then do the most important thing we can, get a new quality an competent strength an conditioning dept put together that can keep our players in one f**king piece!! an god damnit this offseason pickup a CB an a guard! thats all we need!

I would adjust to place more blame 35% on Jimmy so it would go:

50: coaches/game plan
35: Jimmy
15: Oline

Finalllyyyyyy !!!! The Moon is Backkkkk from a 24 hour Time Out for posting that Shanahan ISN'T good coach !!!

man, that Seattle game... I feel like crying... Time to admit that they are the better team, and with injuries all over, we have no chance... and to top it off, we allow the worst D in the league to look like the 1984 BLUE WAVE of THE NORTH EAST !!!

TBF we already are seeing rookies and 2nd, 3rd, 4th stringers playing. But I agree with you that just because one disagrees with a player or move or trade or whatever, doesn't make them a bandwagon fan. That's what a fan actually is. Being involved in what your team is doing socially and mentally.
