If the offense cannot go three and out every drive, keep the defense fresh I believe anything is possible!

Lot of IFs

I think the 49ers have a good chance at winning this game.

1. I believe the Saints will come in a bit flat after the emotional win over Tom Brady and the Bucs
2. Because the 49ers are so banged up, there's a good chance the Saints will think this game is an automatic win.

We'll see.

49ers have no chance to win this game. Especially without Bosa, Brees will pick this defense apart.

I would say that I have a 99.99999 percent chance of being dead wrong, and you being dead right.

However, as I have learned before, never count out that .0000001 percent chance that I just might be right.

Just bet money on the Saints. That seems to work for me if I want a team to suck

Ah, like 49ers -5 at home against Philly. I see you.

If we shouldn't hope that the 49ers lose (draft pick reasons), then which teams should we root for to win (to hurt their own draft position)?

There are Jets fans that are still rooting for their team to win. It just doesn't compute how a fan would root against their own team. How would you say you're a fan then?

Is there really a college QB that's going to rescue the s**t season of injuries the 9ers are having?

You're a good poster thl, love your input and breakdowns. Don't fall into the trap of thinking the draft is going to fix all. This is a down season after a SB. If this team was healthy we would be talking how far can we go this year.

I think we could use an upgrade to Jimmy, but he isn't that bad.

My take is ride with Jimmy this year if he gets healthy and next with a drafted QB. Not sure that needs to be a top 5 pick.

It doesn't really matter if the 49ers have 17 fans or 17 million, we don't have any input as to who gets drafted, contracts, who gets cut or anything else.

We the fans take these games waaaay more serious and to heart than the players do. Win or loose I see players after the game shaking hands, laughing & smiling. The big fat paycheck they just earned whether they won or not seems to help.

Whether we root for them to win or loose games, or any other team to win more games in order for us to get a better draft pick is not going to help the 9ers win or loose games, that's on the coaches and players.

In the end fans want the team to get better and a higher choice of draft pick gives teams more options who they pick whether it's a corner, qb, center etc.

So it's just a different philosophy than the win every game even if it is of no benefit this year, but they are still hard core fans or they wouldn't care so much.

In the end we could get the 3rd pick and draft Solomon Thomas or hit a home run in the 5th with GK but no matter what we wish,we have zero bearing on the wins, losses or draws.

The only thing we can affect for sure as a 49ers fan is making Jed's pockets fatter by buying merchandise and tuning into NFL games every week.

Always a chance. Brees, Kamara and Mike Thomas could all get hurt early in the game.

....not a great chance but it's still there.

They would just bring in Hill who can QB and play RB at the same time. -100 chance we win this game with Mullens or CJ and all the starters we have out. We need Deebo,Aiyuk and Mostert to give Mullens or CJ any shot and it would be tough at that.

Hasty seemed to be better as a 3rd back. I crushed enough I added to my fantasy team and he got me 3 points

Haha, same here because my other backs were on IR or on a bye. Still won though, Mccaffrey picked up the slack

I'm not expecting this game to be close but I am looking forward to seeing Warner cover Kamara.
Its been what 19 days and no Deebo? O thought it was minor
No sherm either. Brees is going to pick our zone defense apart.

Just get his OL close to him so he can't see down field

Hasn't stopped him his whole career, but, I will agree and say the pressure has to come up the middle.

it actual has stopped him in bigger games and it's why he's not visiting the SB every year.

but they do a good job at opening throwing lanes for him most of his career. If they open those lanes against us then it's going to be a scoring fest
