Has to be so frustrating for the defense to give up 27 points but special teams screwed them with field position three times.

This was a frustrating game to watch. Special teams sucked, lack of adjustments to corner blitz, and Mullens showing why he's a back up.

Silver lining is how well the defense actually played

Special teams is probably running it's regular Day 1 starters and that's why it's so disappointing.

That is the final nail in my extreme optimist POV thinking the Niners could still make a run when injured guys come back.

Ward drops as easy and INT as you can have and then they muff a 2nd punt, immediately turns into 7 points. That is just disgusting.

And that was after Beathard missed a wide open touch down by about 8 yards short.

WTF is this s**t.

Watching the rest of the NFC and every contender has huge holes. The Niners should have been coasting to a #1 seed.
