Yes especially with Alex's short passing game.

I'm starting him as well lol
This should be a win for us. It was obvious Buffalo was going to be the toughest team remaining in our schedule.

Washington has a good Dline.. and of course Alex tries to minimizes turnovers, so Nick and the offense need to protect the football...but this should be a 24-10 win type of game.

One thing we can be grateful for, is the location of our remaining games.. Late December weather type games + Nick's inconsistent ball trajectory/ducks, could have been ugly. But being in a dome, in Arizona? As best as you can ask for.

He needs to get it together.. some passes are great on the money, others are bad. And again he's still getting lucky with dropped pics.

If Smith ever becomes free again, I would love to have him as a back up.

Yeah, every game there are several hold-your-breath passes coming from Mullens
This is from an article where Kyle is talking about Nick Mulles:

"Almost the same stuff I've been emphasizing every week with him," Shanahan said. "Do what you're supposed to do in terms of, what play's called, you read the coverage, you go to the right person.
"Don't try to make stuff up, be aggressive, but do it within the play. I thought Nick did a real good job of that last week. He made the right plays. I know he'd love to have that pick back on third-and-goal on the five. He could have done that better."

Sounds a lot like Alex Smith. I think he would have been a really good fit for this offense. Better than Brian Hoyer. Hope he plays well on Sunday
