It would have been nice to beat the damn cowboys, but of course we fail to even do that.
How are we this cursed to be so injured and suck? Yet Chiefs are 13-1 ready to make their 2nd straight superbowl.
I agree that the chances of getting back to the SB were pretty much gone when we lost Bosa and Thomas in the same game. I know most of you don't think much of Thomas but he is part of the rotation and it forced them to move guys around. That started a trend that continued all year. Even if Jimmy had been healthy all year I don't think they would have gone far in the playoffs. Kittle and now Deebo out. Mostert in and out. Jimmy wouldn't have made enough of a difference. Maybe they win 3 more games.
Yesterday they outgained the Cowboys by almost 170 yards. The turnovers killed this team again. The turnover ratio may be one of if not the most important stat in determining the outcome of an NFL game. The chances of winning or losing change dramatically as that ratio changes. It's nearly impossible to win a game when you're -4 on turnovers. Even though this team played well on defense this year despite all the injuries they didn't create many turnovers. Certainly not enough to offset the ones out offense was creating.
