A man with a plan I like it , some of those guys I don't or wouldn't resign but I like it

This is prob the best draft type scenario. If they've decided to stay with Jimmy(I wouldn't). He's an injury bust. Can't bail to a rebuild yet but ShannyLynch have themselves stuck with a dumpster fire oline and no money. That's on them. They will not get there again if they don't fix that line. Our D won't ever be as dominant as they were during the sb year. We have to trim the fat and then some. We came within minutes of doing it but without a much better line, with Jimmy as qb, forget about it.

Which is a better car, a Cadillac or a Lincoln?
Lol at Eric Stokes lasting until the 3rd and getting Stafford for a 2nd rounder.
-Saleh goes to Detroit, SF get's a 3rd in 2021/2022 for the move. (takes LaFluer with him as OC)
-Raheem Morris becomes the DC
-FIRST ask Jimmy to take a massive pay cut, if he says no, try to work with him on a trade, if that doesn't work cut him. No way he's playing on his current contract in 2021....More than likely a cut, which saves $50M over the next two yrs.
-cut Gould/Richburg/Nzeocha, along with giving Tomlinson an extension (lower cap in 2021) after all that with Jimmy gone SF with have around $58M and something like $120M in 2022.
-Ford june-1st cut, can't touch that cash until after June BUT use that to give Warner an extension.
-Resigning...Verrett (3yrs $18M), RFA Mosley/givens/Brunskill (cheap), TW (3 yrs, $54M per spotrac), Juice (4yrs $16Mm) Garland (cheap backup). I'm letting K Williams/Hyder check out the market and hopefully we can offer him something end of the day.
-signings: Backup QB one of Dalton/Fitz OR if LV let's Mariota walk. William Jackson DB (spotrac has him at t 3yrs $18M), Corey Linsley (3yrs $26M), if we can't get Hyder back (which I think we can) one of Vernon/Kerrigan. All these contracts can be reworked to fit under the cap no problem.

Draft:
I'm guessing we're gonna be drafting around 8-9 all said an done. Current picks (including Saleh move)
-1st, 2nd, 3rd (comp), 4th, 3 5th rd picks (one for Kwon and one for Sanders comp), 6th and 2 7ths.
-I'm moving up for one of the rookie QBs in Lance/Wilson. 2021 1st and 3rd, 2022 1st and 3rd.

2nd rd (and really the rest of the draft) I'm looking at BPA at EDGE/OL/DB. Possibly a small move down in 2nd to grab an extra 4th or something....Still to early to determine who and at what pick BUT here are a couple guys I like.

2nd rd:
-Jaelan Phillips EDGE
-Quincy Roche EDGE
-Alijah Vera-Tucker OL
-Dillon Radunz OL
-Creed Humphrey IOL
-Josh Myers IOL

4th rd
-Israel Mukuamu CB
-Elijah Molden CB
-greg newsome CB
victor dimukeje EDGE
alex lindstrom-IOL
Tyler linderbaum-IOL

from a draft perspective I really need to start diving in...this is all super fluid.

Other restructuring would need to take place to round out the roster, but I think this would be an ideal offseason

1. I prefer Raheem Morris or Demeco Ryans as DC.

2. I'm ok with dealing Jimmy.

3. Too much for Stafford, mid rounder at most.

4. As some have said June 1 Dee won't help right away, his entire cap number stays on the books for the entire offseason until June 2nd.

5. I can see Richburg reducing his salary, he has no leverage. same as Dee.

6. Cutting those players don't really save that much, we only have 33 players signed, about $8.139M after factoring in top 51 salaries, plus Gould's option needs to be decided by either this weekend or next weekend, I see him being here.

7. I also have Trent at $18M a yr.

8. Fair offer for Juice IMO.

9. Don't need to extend Moseley, he's a RFA, he'll get the 2nd rd tender, which should be around $3.422M, but would be wise to lock him up long term like we did with Mostert, who I can see being extended.

10. Yes to Blair, no to Thomas.

11. Givens is signed for 2021 at just $780K, we won't extend him, he won't be a UFA until I think 2024, RFA in 2023, ERFA in 2022. Unless it's super cheap, no reason to extend him yet.

12. Too cheap for Hyder, he'll get in the $6M-$10M a yr range IMO, I initially thought it wouldn't happen, but looking at deals in the past, teams overpay for EDGE help, hoping he sticks around, might depend on if Kourcerk stays. Same can be said for Juice, if Bobby Turner stays.

13. idk much about Hilton, so I can't make a statement, but $8.75M a yr for a Slot WR is too much IMO, I'd rather stick with Bourne at the Slot(Big Slot) or maybe Hurd or Jennings prove themselves.

14. Mullens will get the 2nd rd tender of $3.422M IMO.

15. Like I said, I see Gould being here in 2021.

16. WAY WAY too low for Warner, he's a better player than CJ Mosley IMO, and he's getting $18M a yr, so Warner should get the same, if not more.

17. I can't comment on the draft, I stopped researching prospects a few years back, too much time consuming.

Other Notes, expect Jeff Wilson and Marcell Harris to get tendered, idk what Wilson gets, but Harris should get the original rd level of $2.24M. Brunskill will get tendered as a ERFA, only costs $850K. I think K'Waun and Verrett are must signs, if we let both, and Sherman go, our CBs are depleted badly. I think the 49ers re-sign Garland also. 1yr $2M, Also I see the 49ers re-signing TE Ross Dwelley, TE Jordan Reed, and LS Taybor Pepper to cheap deals, I can see Pepper getting a 4yr deal with minimum salaries, and only a small signing bonus, maybe $200K.

Honestly I'm okay with Saleh leaving and we get the two -3 rd round draft picks to come.

New DC - demeco ryans

Trade jimmy gq to bears for a 2nd round pick

Trade for Mathew Stanford for a 2nd rd pick

Resign Trent Williams, Richard Sherman (leadership matters), Jason verrett,

I leave it with this. You guys can add.

Saleh will be taking Meco with him.. the offer will be better as an Assistant HC as well as being the DC.

I'd keep Jimmy and trade our pick (if we end up between 10 to 15) to get a late 1st, an extra 2nd and a much needed 3rd.

Trade Glynch and AA

yes on resigning Trent Williams and Jason Varrett as well as eMan.

Sherman - Bourne - Trent Taylor - Ward - Tartt - Spoon .. they can ALL go ..

i agree with trading Jimmy if we can, and acquiring Stafford if we could.

Resigning Trent and Verrett is almost a must.

I def agree with your list of the players to let go, most are garbage.

If we could somehow trade AA and Mcglinchey, that would be nice, but i can't see it happening this offseason.

I could see Demeco taking the DC job for us though. He's familar with the guys, and knows this defense is top notch when healthy.

Some day moon will understand its 2020 and it's not 1989 lol. There's a cap that HAS to be accounted for.

Trading AA will cost SF $21.5M in DM next yr...they literally will have $9M more added to the cap if he's moved. It's pure fantasy land talk lol.
On Armstead, he can be traded, but it's tricky, he has a protected option bonus($7.5M) due by April 1, 2021, right now it's considered to be picked up, so it prorates at $1.5M a yr for 5yrs(2021-2025), but if the 49ers were to decline the bonus, they could trade him, but, the tricky part is, the $6M($1.5M already is counting against the 2021 cap) would be added to his $6.65M base salary, which is GTD, so his $12.5M salary would increase to $18.5M, so a lose of $6M in cap room, the team would need to deal him ASAP to gain cap room while not losing any players to free agency, they would save just $4.2M by trading him, and honestly I don't see it happening, he gets a pass for 2020, and to be honest, he hasn't played bad, he's without Bosa and Ford, a rookie DT, journeyman EDGE who's been great, AA is getting pressure on the QB and backs, and as I say sacks aren't everything, yes it'd be nice to see him finish, but, I'm not holding it against him.
Lol @pay cut for Richburg. Dude is DONE

I like the idea of asking jimmy to take pay cut.

Mullens will not be on this team next year will he?! Really?!

Trade for Darnold and draft someone, unless you fall in love with someone in first!

It is, i know cap space plays a huge factor on all this and i don't know the numbers in depth to tell you the more likely scenario but i just want it to happen lol.

Can we turn off Cap Space? lol

If the 9ers lose out they are likely looking at pick 8 or 9. Why would they need to trade up for Lance?

A guy with 14 career starts just isn't going top 5.

It's such a dumb scenario, teams don't trade a player a yr after they gave him a extension.

It's pure madden talk with little knowledge of how it actually works in the NFL. Regardless of how people feel about him, he's gonna be here for another yr. like you said he hasn't been bad. Is he worth that contract? Meh that's debatable.

Because he plays QB and he's gonna crush the draft process. If he's the guy you want you don't sit around because there's more than your team in the draft that might like him just as much (who can move up for him too).

Joe borrow had one yr of elite play and went #1 overall
All I know is we're going to add a top 10 pick to this already loaded roster. We'll be super bowl contenders once again next season
