Ya our LBs have played great but first off that's only one specific facet of our D an an secondly we have Warner an greenlaw who are big reasons for that.

I think we need experience if we want to maintain the same performance as the last couple years on D.

Demeco Ryans has been calling and checking defensive calls for years as a MIKE LB. His nickname as a player was "the coach." He's about as prepared to be a DC as Saleh was when he got here, and he'll also have Shanny to lean on.

Also, if you don't promote Demeco, he leaves with Saleh. If you bring in an outside DC, there's also a high likelihood that Kocurek is gone as well. The idea of maintaining the same performance goes down the toilet with an entirely new defensive coaching staff.
