Maybe he's the Ron Wotus of NFL coaches.

Along with Kocurek. The continuity would be great.
Still saying if he leaves, promote Ryans and hire pat Willis as LB coach.

Pat was an incredible leader, we need that mentorship for all-pro Fred.

Pat is not fit to coach or we would be coaching

I actually asked him this question on his IG live stream. He said he may consider coaching at some point, but he's enjoying retirement for a while. Coaching is a grind, so it makes sense that players dont want to jump directly into it after they retire. Willis would be a fantastic LB coach whenever he decides to return to the game.

So seems like his Detroit interview went as his DC coaching went. Went well until the final 10 minutes then completely botched it like he has done for the last season and a half.

There's no question Meyer can now see some success in the league as NFL offenses now run similar styles to colleges. The question is his commitment. "health issues" galore when the going gets tough. He's going to be part of a rebuild in JAX. Will he be able to stomach the churn? Parity is much more a real thing in the NFL vs. college.

I think the health issues thing was more of a excuse for him to get out of FL b/c his players were getting out of control. Jasnt had any health issues since

He retired at Ohio St. because of health reasons.

If demeco can do it, why not Willis?

I didn't realize that was the official reason. I know it was right after the season he was suspended over the Zach Smith domestic violence situation. He seems to know when to use the my health is failing excuse pretty well

Because some players love the game so much they start coaching early. Plus Ryan was defensive play caller on the field. (Green dot). Willis didn't want that responsibility
