Exciting does not mean he's consistently good.

Sure, some of the players from today won't be with the team next year. But others will be. Rookies and free agents will want to come to a team where the culture is such that even after 20-odd starters in IR, this team is so well managed and the players are so bought in with the vision of this management that they go out and dominate a team fighting for its playoff life. I was delighted to see the way we played today: professional and ruthless and cleaning up the mistakes from the last couple of games.
I also saw the early game with Detroit not even bothering to turn up. Embarrassing. Do you prefer to root for a team like that? No higher draft pick is worth this.

There's times when it's ok to lose. Myles Garrett . . . Solomon Thomas. There's only a 35 sack difference. No biggie. Think long and hard if that win was worth it. Yeah we got lucky that we sucked bad enough the next year for Bosa but you don't alwaya get those breaks.
But here yeah you play to win.

The point is that rooting against your own team won't change the outcome of the game or the outcome of the draft or the quality of the player drafted. The only thing you accomplish is not being able to enjoy Your team win a gameOriginally posted by paulk205:I shake my head at the "meaningless win" crowd and their frustration that we didn't lose. Spoon had his once every so often great game.
Some random called Barrett flattened Kyler into the turf.
Warner/Greenlaw were all over the place.
Verrett made life tough for Hopkins.
Kittle made a difference.
CJ was efficient with only one TO that didn't cost anything.
Wilson Jr and the OL were all over them in the run game.
I'm sure I've missed a few.
Nobody played themselves out that I could see or think of. Pretty solid across the board.

Juice was fantastic as usual too.

Yep a lot of fans come from participation trophy places. What is the point of cheering for your team to lose. How can that be enjoyable. There are guys in here that probably do believe thier team would tank. Just like they believe that the NFL tells the refs to help or hurt certain teams. Anyone seen Sasquatch lately.
