I don't know too much about Rosen myself, but I'm intrigued by his potential. Now that I know he's on this team, I've did a little bit of research and from what I've found, he looks like he might be another younger Jimmy - potentially. We shall see.

Draft a guy or sign a backup and hope he pans out and IF & THEN, think about what to do with Jimmy G

Trubisky isn't getting a normal backup contract. Someone will take a flyer on him.

I'm thinking a tram like the Patriots would grab him. Shoot, they picked up Cam. If Fangio liked Trubisky when he was with the bears, they might bring him in to compete with Lock. He'd get a shot in WAS to backup/compete with Alex, maybe Urban Meyer thinks he'd fit in his system, does Brady retire and TB come calling? Do the Jets look at him and a 1st rounder to bring competition into their qb room?

People don't know qb contracts anymore. 25 APY is 13th in the league and about 2 mil away from 18th, I think, and will be lower Sept 2021.

I thought rosen was our project? I not ashamed to admit it but I loved Rosen during his draft process if you told me that one day rosen was gonna be a niner I would've been ecstatic. Times have changed...
