No we hired a man who was the Eagles senior offensive assistant this past year. Press Taylor was the QB coach in Philly this past season.

He was given old beat up Joe Flacco as his QB. Only job he was fired from. Not sure where your getting this multiple times logic?

And his firing from the Broncos was more on Pat Shurmur becoming available and John Elway being dumb and hiring him even though Lock was starting to look good in Scangs system towards the end of the season.

Being a QB coach and being an OC are completely different jobs. Just because he wasn't cut out to be an OC doesn't mean hes not a great QB coach.

Scags was the QB coach for 5 games with Jimmy...he's nothing special.

I mean who has he "developed" ever? Nick Mullens?

He was just let go in Philly...Sorry not fired just not good enough to resign

If you just go by that, it's better than nothing. But also Nick's put up some good numbers for an undrafted and I believe the story is that he was spotted by Scangarello. So hopefully Scangarello can lend that eye and help find Kyle a good QB in the draft.

I don't know if this is a negative or a positive. Beathard looked the best he ever has under Shane Day, although still not great. It was better than Mullens, in my opinion.

It may surprise people but the Niners gained more yards passing in 2020 than they did in 2019. (4033 vs 3792) The running game is what suffered the most. It's probably because they trailed more often and had to pass but even without Jimmy they still moved the ball thru the air.
