And I don´t think a team like Jacksonville who wanted the number one seed in the AFC was playing for nothing same for the Titans.
As for the good cop, bad cop thing, I ´m just joking based on what we saw on the sidelines. Kyle is not really diplomatic I would say.^^ He´s either yelling or shaking his head.^^ Scangarello seemed more positive, more willing to discuss with the QB. And yes it´s his job I know but that´s the way I see it.
Don´t get me wrong, I love Kyle and he should be the coach for a very long time, he´s the man. You could say Belichick is the same. Last time he´s smiled, well I don´t know.

When his wife said tonight's the night.
Was this guy the reason Jimmy sucked last year?
Since mid-season I said that we needed Rich back to coach our QB´s and now we got him.

Literally the jags game and a comeback vs the Titans that's pretty much it. Yes fans were excited because we saw s**t QB play for 20 yrs overall.

Totally worth $137M

Once teams saw film

I don't hate Jimmy and will root for him as long as he's a Niner, we shouldn't be settling and a Meh QB coach isn't changing much imo.

Why? What about him is good? I'm just curious as to why people love this dude?

Lol wut? Scags has been fired multiple times now him being here has no baring on anything QB related.

Pretty sure in 2018/2019 he went 21-10 with trips to rhe playoffs and that's despite him having a trash roster and a horrible coach.

WTF does him being fired have anything to do with being a good QB coach. Just saying that he has a relationship with Jimmy G or do you disagree?? Lol
I like Rich. Glad he's back

He was just let go in Philly...Sorry not fired just not good enough to resign

My god the love for this guy is stupid. He's done next to nothing.

I see your point but I don't think that's fair. Lol

Their head coach was fired so why would he be renewed when there is no head coach in place at the moment and if there was he'd likely want his own guys?

What has been reported is the Eagles owner wanted some fresh ideas last year in the offense so the Eagles rather than hire an OC did some internal promotions creating a passing game coordinator and running game coordinator and Scangarello was supposed to help blend everything together. What has been reported since is Pederson ended up having so many voices in his head that it just created too much headache.

I will say also that I thought Lock played better under Scangarello in their limited time than he did this past year.

I understand your point though. He doesn't have anything of note to show he's fully developed a qb yet and seems to have developed a strong rep with lots of our fans despite that. With that said though he hasn't been coaching in the NFL that long and has coached on three different teams despite that. He hasn't really been anywhere long enough yet to establish enough time to really develop one and Kyle seems to really like him. We'll see what happens.

Again I think you tend to lose a form of objectivity. I´m not saying Garoppolo is Montana 2.0 nor Steve Young but he helped us a ton.
The match at New Orleans and Seattle last year, we don´t win them without a great performance by our QB.
If you tell me that Deshaun Watson will be our QB next year, awesome! But there´s a gap between this guy is elite and every team figured him out as for Garoppolo.

Are people forgetting how bad our oline was ?
Give Jimmy an oline and he is a top 10 quarterback.

Everybody was singing Mullins praises untill he got behind the same oline that got Jimmy hurt.

Even Brady would look s**t behind that oline

I think he'll be a positive impact on Jimmy. Hope he stays healthy and get back to his 2019 form. Healthy Wr's will go a long way to make that happen.

LMAO. So many facts in this. Fans have THE biggest blind spot for pass protection (unparalleled).

For some, there is absolutely no scenario where they would hold the OL primarily responsible for any loss. Ever.

If the unit pass protection let every single defender go free every single snap, I guarantee you, there'd still be fans in here blaming the QB, scheme, coaching and receivers. Guaranteed.

Disagree Brady would look like s**t and I disagree Jimmy would look like a top 10 QB behind any OL.

Ha. Brady was looking like crap behind an excellent OL this year until he sat down with the HC and changed it all up. Brady would've gotten decapitated here.
