Wouldn't hate that, I feel like he makes more cash doing his 3DQB stuff though.

edit: he's currently the offensive assistant for the Jets. I'm guessing he might be the guy

Didn't Beck work with Fields and Lance prior to the Combine?

This is Scangarello's best path to another OC job. By far and away, this will be the most talent he has in the QB room, assuming we make the right pick. Even though I'm not expecting much from Rosen, the fact is he was one of the top rated QBs in 2018.

Well there it is.

I think he did. However, the question is whether Beck has knowledge in the arena of reading an NFL defense with the offensive playcall in mind. Its one thing to teach a young QB how to effectively, accurately, and quickly release the football. Its another tenet to do that plus incorporate it into playing football.

This seems like addition by subtraction. We haven't really seen major QB development on any front recently.

Not so sure about that. He got more out of Mullens then could be reasonably expected. And its not like our other QBs went elsewhere and tore it up. With that said, I think we can get someone quality in here. It's not like interviewing for a job going nowhere. QB coach on this team leads places.

He worked with Fields/Wilson and Lance (there was no combine) just pro-days. Trey will be going to his 3DQB camp (with Tom house) this summer in southern CA.

I think Beck or Slowik (who's an in-house up and comer) will be the QB coach.

He was a 2nd rd pick in the 2007 draft. I think he played 7 yrs in the league (2 yrs with Kyle in DC) before retiring.

I would LOVE if we brought Beck in. Everything I read about him is that he's an outstanding QB coach. Zach Wilson wouldn't have drove all that he did to train with him and Lance wouldn't be going back to him as we speak if he wasn't IMO
What the deuce? How is Kentucky Football OC an upgrade over 49ers QB coach?

More money and he get's to call plays. College football plays coaches pretty well. I believe I read that the other coordinators at UK make $1M a yr. He wasn't making that here.

Maybe he doesn't like Lance.
