I'm venting. It troubles me that my beloved niner can't find their next great QB. Funny how we had 2 of the best ever in Montana and Young, even had some great fill in with Bono and Gracia. Why o why can't we figure this out???

We are spoiled, pure and simple. For us older fans we go back to Y A Tittle and John Brodie. You can add Garcia and Colin for a few years in between. No NFL team has such quality at the QB position for such a long time. I have faith in Coach Shanahan, he will find that next great one, (who knows maybe it's Jimmy G).

32 teams in the league and only a handful of special QBs. Almost everyone is trying to find the next great QB, it's an incredibly tough thing to do.

They have options, but the onus is on Kyle and Lynch to make a move. Lots of QBs are moving this year. Stafford on the trade block, etc

Good QBs take a huge paycheck, the team t
can't sign a WR or OL, their performance dips and the rest of the roster crumbles. God forbid there's an injury . Looking at you Philly.
My other belief, top QBs of each draft class usually end up on a crappy team that doesn't build around them properly and they never develop into the savior they get drafted to be.
