why? It literally happened last year. Who is to say that history won't repeat itself?

I predict there will be 17 games played next season. A lot of you aren't predicting this as shown by your record predictions.

Like every other season and team in the NFL... injuries change everything.

I also predict Ford passes his physical and the 49ers cut him.

Knowing that it's a league doctor evaluating vs his personal physician... I'm thinking he's passing. He'd have to demonstrate degenerative disk disease or something of that sort in order to fail (if we're talking back issues) otherwise, it's a soft tissue issue and I believe that's a pass.

Man, that is a really interesting point, no matter who the doc is. In a totally different medical field, over the yrs I've had to determine if a patient was disabled or not , altho usually just from their job...which is exactly where Dee and richburg stand.

FTR, that is not a pleasant situation, and the one thing you really want to be a) FAIR and b) CORRECT. This is never an easy decision for any doc, and it always involves taking away a guy's livelihood , and for that matter his $$$. Not knowing every single fact about either guy means i have zero idea how this comes out.

I know how fans would like it to come out but this will be based on cold hard facts..Even at that it is still an iffy choice. Remember, just because a guy passes or doesn't pass a physical, isn't taking away his ability to do something else...like broadcasting. Coaching, anything having to do with team, and so on. But still, the onus is "on us" as the professors in med school used to say when discussing evaluating someone for disability...or NOT.

We resign one or two of our key free agents, then send him away as part of a trade to entice the deal.

I'm not saying Juice could be one of them, but you never know...

My other prediction is McGlinch will go shopping for new skirts and leggings to prepare for Watt
