U think so? I don't know too much about Demeco Ryan, but I trust KS. I hope he is indeed as good as or better the Saleh

Some more wishful thinking on my part, that's all

The talent is better than when Saleh first got here and unlike Saleh, Ryans didn't come from another team (was LB coach here)... the familiarity is already there. He's witnessed the growing pains Saleh went through and has grown with the players.

Supposedly he's smart / detail oriented, I figure he'll take the good points and learned from the mistakes. The hiring of staff with experience and some success from the past is beneficial. Saleh put it all together, Ryans just needs to add some tweaks and not f**k it up...

We're in a tight spot financially so I see a lot of cats leaving. We will have an interesting year coming up. Here are my predictions:

Williams will walk as someone will outbid or overpay. Another draft day blunder IMO. Wirfs should've been the pick all along.

most of the secondary will be gone. No Spoon, Sherm and maybe Mosley. Verrett and Williams stay.

Bosa won't be ready even though he's looking Good.

Kinlaw will hurt his surgically touched up knee.

Niners will trade back in the draft picking up a second rd this year and a first next year.

Jimmy G will be the Niners starting QB in hoops to boost his trade value at the EOY

Mostert will get hurt again

Niners will miss the playoffs again

See what I did here setup for failure then we shall succeed.

Jimmy gets hurt, misses a few games.

7-9

wait how many regular season games are there going to be again?

I don't think the top 4 QBs will be gone by pick 12. It also depends on who you consider the top 4?

I think 3 QBs are gone before 12. Lawrence, Fields and Wilson. Mac Jones and Trey Lance will be waiting at 12
Jimmy maintains a firm grip on the starting QB job and plays all 16 regular season games:

  • 4500+ passing yards
  • 72% comp rate
  • 40 tds
  • 10 int

We signed River Cracraft so I guess we're SB bound. Sounds like a small speedboat.

1- offense will be better than defense
2- will sign T Williams, Mack and draft a guard in 2nd round to fix oline
3- will draft CB 1st round after trade down and later round CB and S who will play key roles
4-LBers will be best unit on defense
5- special teams will improve over last year

Yeah I concur, I think CB is going to be our first round pick. and the BPA at 12th might be a CB anyway. This CB class is pretty good and one of either Surtain, Caleb Farley or Jaycee Horn should be there at 12th. Any of them could start as rookies. But not sure about offense being better then defence

My thinking on the offense vs defense is coaching change will have an impact. Basically offense gets continuity and lots of players back. The defense will have a new defensive backfield and the dline is going to lose some role players to FA. With Saleh gone I think offense takes more center stage

Now I wanna see everyone here crying for Bosa

I think we won't trade for Watson and keep Bosa. But will learn that we could've had Watson had we given up Bosa and 3 firsts.

The salty fallout will be glorious.

As long as the "-1" isn't the the Superbowl, like the 1984 Niners, and not the 2007 patriots lol

This is the way.
Josh Rosen somehow makes the roster, and either through competing for it, or through injury, takes the reigns at some point and revives his career.

Just a nickname I can't forget (read an SI article) Muhammad Ali used for Earnie Shavers (The Acorn) back in the day
