And was really in a bad offense before he got here. I personally think Rosen has the talent to be twice the quarterback Jimmy is. As far as the arm goes like I said he can do everything Jimmy could do better, and he could do a lot of things Jimmy can't do for instance through outside the numbers
Well, personally I would like to see these two, Beathard and a high draft pick battle it out.
Agree with both. I think Rosen has the higher physical talent vs Jimmy ( not talking about intangibles) almost like Jimmy has more physical gifts than Mullens, in a sense.
Also would like a high draft choice (like a mobile QB) to develop behind Jimmy like how Mahomes developed behind Alex.

All this talk of Darnold coming here or Cousins, or whoever, is just nonsense.
2) Mullens is gone. Not going to be re-signed, not going to be offered. Our back up QB group will see changes
3) Rosen will be the back up, and maybe Beathard back as 3rd string, with Josh Johnson as the 4th.
4) We are not going to draft a QB with the 12th pick. I don't care who is out there. We have other more serious needs then QB that warrants spending a 12th pick on.
5) We are not going to trade out of the 12th pick, we need it and we will use it.
6) The injuries will be no where as bad as last season by virtue that we will have a full practice and OTA schedule to condition and get the bodies up to speed.
7) We have drafted well in the later rounds, and we will continue to do so, to get cheaper. Therefore, we will start a lot of rookies next season, and re-sign a limited number of our free agents. I really hope the new crew of coaches can coach them up.
Damn, I agree with all of these.

2. We will make a big-ish trade at some point that no one sees coming.
3. We will trade down from #12 and draft Kwity Paye or another edge. We will trade up for someone later that will be seen as a big reach.
4. A lot of starters will get injured, but they will be less severe and most guys won't miss too much time. People will lose their minds over each one.
5. We will sweep the NFC North.
6. We will play in the Wildcard Round.
Sidenote: I don't know where this myth about us picking well in the later rounds comes from. We've hit on Kittle, Warner, Greenlaw, and to a lesser extent DJ Jones. Other than that not a single starter, and the only solid backups are Moore and once in a blue moon Ahkello. I think we've been mediocre at best in the later rounds, and IMO we seriously need to pick it up in that regard.
Lol! Yeah, apart from one of the best two tight ends in the League, Warner, probably the best at his position and Greenlaw, an excellent player. And then there were all the players who stepped in when the injury tsunami swept through the team. Your aspirations are ludicrous. Sorry but there it is.
Agree. Just to add, Mullens, Breida, and Bourne - who were significant contributors in 2019 super bowl run-- and I think ShanaLynch have been at least top Quarter of teams drafting in the later rounds and UDFA. I think that is the main reason they *had* a 13-3 season one year ago.

You don't think Dak Prescott is an upgrade at qb? If he makes it to free agency. Then trade Jimmy for another draft pick.
Also I do think there are 2 qb's that may be available that I would draft if they are on the board. Jimmy needs to be pushed, I see more potential from Zach Wilson and Trey Lance. The only positions of value to us at 12 that would fit are edge rusher and corner. I see better value for both positions later in the draft.

You guys beat me to it. It's the only prediction that's accurate every year. But like they say, no pain, no gain.

I don't know what else to tell you guys and gals, this is what will happen.
Believe teams when they have already shown you who they are.
Yeah, I agree. If Jimmy gets injured again and misses a bunch of games, and during that time, Rosen is serviceable as a replacement, then Jimmy is gone. They will draft a QB the following year. Maybe Kedon Slovis from USC. That kid can push the ball downfield in a hurry.

Zach Wilson and Trey Lance will be long gone by the 12th pick

Mostly Agree,
Make Ford and Richburg June 1 cuts for cap room.
sign Williams, Juice, Verrett and Warner from the team: plus other FA to fill the gap:
Restructure Jimmy, More cap room.
Trade down once or twice. We can completely re-tool the team this year.
The NFC is wide open. Draft well , guys return from injury, and we're back in the hunt for NFC championship.

I don't think Trey Lance will be long gone at 12. Not only did he miss a year but he's the biggest project out of the top 5 QBs in this draft. I doubt he goes before Lawerence, Fields and Wilson. It's also a possibility Mac Jones goes before Lance. It's just a matter of the teams opinions and how high they are on one prospect over another. I just don't think you can continue to respond as if Lance is a no brainer to be gone at 12. It's not an accurate take
