We will continue to cement the nickname of the FortyWhiners
I think they sign Alex Mack. Linsley would be ideal but I think he's going to be much more expensive. Linsley is about to cash in as the highest paid center. I think Mack not only wants to come here but he'd come here a litttle cheaper than what he might be able to get elsewhere. He'd be getting his last contract for the most part considering his age but I think he comes here in hopes of a SB and playing in Shannys system again

Trust me there's a lot more than just 40 whiners on the zone alone.

1) We are staying with Jimmy. We are not going to trade him, because whoever is out there that is available not named Deshaun Watson, is not a clear and significant improvement over him. He will start the next season. And we don't have the cap room or draft picks that will swing a deal for a superior QB to Jimmy. All this talk of Darnold coming here or Cousins, or whoever, is just nonsense.

2) Mullens is gone. Not going to be re-signed, not going to be offered. Our back up QB group will see changes

3) Rosen will be the back up, and maybe Beathard back as 3rd string, with Josh Johnson as the 4th.

4) We are not going to draft a QB with the 12th pick. I don't care who is out there. We have other more serious needs then QB that warrants spending a 12th pick on.

5) We are not going to trade out of the 12th pick, we need it and we will use it.

6) The injuries will be no where as bad as last season by virtue that we will have a full practice and OTA schedule to condition and get the bodies up to speed.

7) We have drafted well in the later rounds, and we will continue to do so, to get cheaper. Therefore, we will start a lot of rookies next season, and re-sign a limited number of our free agents. I really hope the new crew of coaches can coach them up.

Damn, I agree with all of these.

I hope he is right with regards to injuries.

Yeah especially that one. I doubt we have 45 players on I.R. again.

lol bold predictions.
Ughh sadly I want to say 4-12 unless we get a good rookie QB then 7-9. Watson might be able to get us to 10 wins.

The unfortunate fallout of the kwon, ford, mckinnon, sheldon day, wasted money finally catching up to us. Along with buck and aa playing well enough to earn decent money.

The oline is not good enough to protect a bad qb. I think kittles style if play and his body is going to break down soon. We don't have a big body receiver or top 5 back to cover up our deficiencies and take over games.

Even so, can we afford Alex Mack? We are tight against the cap and he is looking for one last biggie paycheck in the NFL

I'm not sure what the Richburg situation is. How much money it would cost to cut ties, etc. I don't think Mack would be cheap but I also don't see a huge deal for a C of his age. I think he takes a little less to play here and win a ship. I'd be surprised if he went anywhere else honestly

I predict we shore up the OL and Jimmy has a better go of it this year.
