Funny how this happened the day Lynch is at BYU.. Obviously he is ready to go with Wilson.. Jimmy will be the qb this year and even next.. Groom Wilson don't just throw him out there

They're not trading for Watson. The major catalyst for doing this is to get cheaper at the QB position.
You're going to get a rookie QB locked up on a cheap contract for at least three years.

Guys, do you honestly believe we just re-signed all these vets to win now, and were just going to dump Jimmy and draft a rookie? Common sense. Jimmy is the QB this year.

What happens if wilson isn't there at 3? This move should have been made the day of the draft. We don't know how the draft board will play out.

We might keep him to not rush the Qb to start but I accept the plan will be to start the rookie at some point this season. That being said if we get a decent offer for Jimmy then I think he is gone.
