Hopefully whoever we pick doesn't turn out to be as bad as pick as Goff was.

ya, that's pretty much how it works when you draft a player.

That doesn't help things - I'm sure he'll be a solid pick and we can start playing for Championships again.

He has that strong vibe for bust. Just my gut. lol dude looks like he got off the couch and started winging it. I know he's a high class character kid. IDK he just does not have that "IT" factor for me. Hard pass on Jones and Lance for me.

Why?

Remember the QB at WFT when Kyle was there - reminds me of fields.

I kinda get what you are saying, but I think Fields is a better QB than RG3. Fields seems to have more pocket presence than RG3 and less injury prone. He is much more solid of a build as well.

Mac Jones' ceiling is probably higher than Garoppolo, he'll execute an offense more efficiently when up to speed and won't make all of the head scratcher throws, and he'll do it at a cheaper price. He also would probably have been available at 12, and almost certainly at 6. The biggest win with him is that you'd get comparable performance with big cost savings, so the team can remain all-around solid. If Jimmy G. was able to get us 10 minutes from a Lombardi, I guess the thinking is a Jimmy ver. 2.0 with some bug fixes and enhanced user interface puts us over the top. Just sucks the price is so high.

Yeah, that body needs some work - has the same body type that Brady had coming out of Michigan.

I agree there, he would probably be better than Jimmy.
I feel like that's a ton of draft capital to give for a guy like Jones
