Cut Jimmy, sign Alex to teach him up. Bench Alex week 10 and win #6.

Amazing news! Wilson is the dream, but I'm good with Fields as well - a no.1 overall calibre plater in any other year.

Odds of:
Zach Wilson to the Jets: "i'm going to pass guys... Thanks but no thanks."

Guys, do you honestly believe we just re-signed all these vets to win now, and were just going to dump Jimmy and draft a rookie? Common sense. Jimmy is the QB this year.
This is my thinking also. Any other non-qb prospect worth the 3rd
While that could be the case... a rookie will never be expected to win a SB in year one but in year 2 the expectations start. So when do you start the clock for a rookie QB? If you start it this year, year 2 will still have all our playmakers on the roster and some nice cap room going into next offseason with JG gone.
If you start the rookie QB process after this year thats just one more year to wait and if JG gets injured or inconsistent which is probable at this point... then you are one year behind where you could of been.

Ohio state QB's bust way too much. Hopefully if he's the pick is an anomaly.
oregon qbs have been total busts until last year....

What makes this even better is that #12 was the only pick this year that they gave up.

They got to like three guys currently that they feel comfortable taking. I personally believe the three are Lawrence, Wilson, and Fields. I personally am hoping it is going to be Wilson but I think Fields is most likely to be left for us. I think Lance has too much boom or bust potential IMO to be on their list.

Eagles tried trading up to #3 to get Wilson but Lynch jumped up with a better offer. Eagles now hoping Lance falls to #12?

Exactly.
The lack of awareness in this post is stunning.
"Why would you ever draft a QB from Texas Tech? They all suck!"
"Why would ever draft a QB from Oregon, they all suck!"
"Why would you ever draft a QB from Cal...."
You always evaluate the player, not the program.
