I don't get the hate on Fields honestly. Don't wanna assume it's "black QB" downgrade but it certainly seems like it to me.

Fields is a lot more proven, just as athletic if not more than Lance. And is a f**king baller. Guess people quickly moved on from his game against Clemson when people started talking about him going #1 over Lawrence here and there?

I trust Kyle. I've said it the whole draft process, if he's willing to give up what it takes to get one of them then I'm all in. I just didn't think we'd give up that much given our needs in free agency. However they absolutely killed this free agency and essentially kept their roster together.

This move makes a ton of sense and I hope similar to KC/Houston we get our guy who gives us the next great 49ers QB for many years to come.

The top 3 QBs could all excel and become superstars in KS's system. Kyle has no problem with either one of them, he wouldn't trade up that high if he wasn't comfortable with all three of them. It's just a matter of which one of them will be there at 3.

I am going to assume the 49ers do not want to go 7-9.

I love Mac Jones, but I doubt we gave up this much to get a SAFE pick. I think Lynch and Shanny are positioning themselves to get Wilson. Either another trade is coming to get #2 or they found out the Jets like someone else. I could see the Jets telling Lynch #2 is available, but we aren't dropping all the way to #12, so figure something out and Lynch did just that today.

Zach Wilson is going to be our future franchise QB.

I think he will still be traded but one other point to make is that the same year the Redskins drafted RG3 shanny sr. still spent a 4th on Cousins. The shanny's arent shy about hoarding QBs.

I have to add only because the damn guys on NFL Network keep mentioning him, if we made the move for Mac Jones I will absolutely lose my mind.

...but if he turns into Tom Brady 2.0 I'll forgive and forget.

Its either Lance or Fields. Unless they're getting a first for Garoppolo I don't see the value is trading him this season.

This roster is ready to win now and a rookie QB has never won the SB.

Ya it would be a reach. Unless we know that lets say ATL also values him very highly.

Anyone else bring up the idea the jets may not have been interested moving down to the teens but could be convinced to move back to the 3rd pick?

Man, I'm hoping it's Wilson, but the Jets will take him at #2.
