Why not just go all out and move up to #1 for Lawrence, they're a lot closer to 1 than they was yesterday. I'm sure Urban Meyer wouldn't mind reuniting with Fields at #3.

I though this, but many think Lawrence and Wilson, eqaul risk and reward etc. The next tier have potential, but need a bit time. We have JG for the next year (or two). It feels calculated. I like it. I just hope its not Mac Jones. I feel like he could have been had at 5-6 etc, but interestingly. Fields still hasnt had his pro day. I think Mac has.....

As would the entire galaxy
Maybe another scenario is we trade #3 to the Patriots. F the Dolphins for trading back down so quickly.

49ers want to win a Superbowl not have a QB throw 30 TDs.

we should keep you at the stadium...you are excellent at moving goal posts

Good point.

Wilson is at least the equal of Herbert.

I think Lance is just as good as herbert.

i watched every Oregon game.

honestly didnt think Herbert would be that good in the pro's.

surprised me.

But the prior year he was predicted to be the top QB by many. He just slipped his Last year, maybe not his fault.

Cristobal has been way to conservative in crucial moments of games.

you are totally right that it may have held Herbert back.

What games are you talking about?

Watch when Coastal Carolina had him clueless this past season. Beating the brake off BYU..... I said Coastal Carolina!!!. I'll send my phone number to you so we can discuss!!!!!!!!!

They traveled across country, scheduling them only days before. Wilson didn't play terrible but BYU was punched right in the mouth.

Wilson was running around like Russel Wilson, making throws all over the field. It wasn't his fault CC won the game.

I'm certainly glad we're not making our decisions based off pro days

What are you talking about? I first listed the chargers record and you said that had nothing to do with it. I listed individual stats and what that has nothing to do with it either? What exactly are you looking for?

Yep.

IIRC, NFL.com rated Pewell the #2 overall talent in the draft, behind only Lawrence.

Except the Jets already have a franchise LT that they took with a Top 10 pick last year in Becton. Can't see them going tackle back to back that early.

Trading up all of those picks to pick up a bust.

Mac will be there at 12

Lance is a bust

Fields is over rated.

Smh at this team.

Agreed, still interesting. I personally like Fields. To be able to sit and learn for up to two years.... with Kyle. I love the idea. But he may love Lance or Jones for all we know. I would argue Jones fits his mold way more, but maybe he is seeing what he passed on the last few years in Watson and Mahomes and will take a shot on Fields.
