yup. we have no clue what another team might be looking for in a QB. outside of Lawrence at #1, anything can happen afterwards.

My thoughts on this trade after it sunk in. The 49ers know Lance is going to Jax at 1, the 49ers most likely know whom the Jets are picking at 2 given their new relationship, so pick 3 is a sure bet. Whomever they want at 3 is going to be there, unless the Jets pull a screw job. And even then, that would mean they'd get the Jets target at worst.

Yes. If they stayed at 12.

My guess is they didn't want to risk it with the Panthers. Matt Rhule worked with him at Senior Bowl and was impressed with him.

That's not a guarantee, all it takes is one team to fall in love with him and end up going before #12.

I doubt it and I love Mac. He Does seem like a KYle Qb I will give you that but If Mac was someone they wanted I think they would have eyed the 6 spot with the eagles like the dolphins did and saved themselves a future 1st rounder. I could be wrong though. We know they have to love at least three Qbs right now. We got to assume Wilson and Lawrance are two of them. The question is who is the third.

I would tend to agree, but it seems they have locked in on their guy (not the right guy) and magically trade down for him. Then have some second or third day pick make up for the mistake.
