Honestly, that´s a little bit too much for me. For Watson, I don´t mind. But for a rookie QB??? For me one first rounder and two second rounders could have done the deal.
But well, kudos to Kyle and John to go for it. I´d love the fact they will keep Jimmy.
Now just draft an edge rusher or Kellen Mond.
IF you offered a 1st and 2 2nds to move to 3rd overall they'd laugh at you and hang up.
They basically gave up two future 1sts which will more than likely be bottom of the 1st. They didn't lose a single pick in this yrs draft (2022 3rd) and are getting extra 3rds the next two yrs.
They can also move Jimmy some point to recoup some value in those future drafts.
They're drafting a QB at 3 dude. Have no idea where Mond is coming from. There isn't a EDGE rusher worth a top 25 pick let alone giving up yrs of 1sts.
You really think I was serious about Mond or the edge rusher?
And about the trade, I´m sorry but that´s a lot.
You assume that our first rounders in 2022 and 2023 will be low but who knows honestly? A lot can happen.
Hell this season, our team was ravaged by injuries and we play in a tough tough division.
If it was for Lawrence or Zach Wilson ok sure but the others?
I trust Kyle but it´s a gigantic risk.
I like it but I also know that people will b***h over this trade when Deshaun will be traded.
